The first room no heat. Very cold. Moved us to another room - Hair on bathroom floor, in tub, on toilet. Sink area needed wiping. Breakfast offered belgian waffles which was surprising after the conditions of the room. Figured I would stay up the road from Camelback to save money but was grossed out by room.

There is no continental breakfast and the rooms have smoke when listed as non-smoking. The bathrooms are antiquated with broken tiles. The staff answered our questions however, and they wore masks. They gave us a to go bag with two danishes and two bottles of juice instead.

The advertisement tells you that the room comes with breakfast included. After signing the papers in the office which also required a 100 dollar deposit, they handed me a brown paper bag with breakfast for two. 2 Nature Valkey Granola bars, 2 oranges, 2 8oz. Bottles of water and 2 mini pound cakes. I f I had know this I would have gone to a different hotel.

I chose this hotel because it was immediately off Route 80, and because it was a Wyndham hotel. I stayed in room 159, and if I hadn't arrived late and would not get a reservation refund, I ~definitely~ would have gone to another hotel. The room was to have been non-smoking and was posted as such, but it reeked of smoke. My husband uses a CPAP machine to sleep and needed a free outlet to plug it in. All the outlets in the room were in use by the lights, microwave, television and refridgerator, and if I wanted to unplug one I would have had to move the entire bed or the heavy couch to do so. Only one plug was free near the sink. The sink in the room was clogged, the bulbs in the light over the sink were burnt out, and the bathroom door could not be closed. The room seemed clean. Given that this was a Wyndham hotel, I booked the room assuming it would be up to the Wyndham standard. I’ll now know not to rely on the Wyndham name for quality.

I booked 2 rooms (122 & 123) for the nights of February 12th and 13th. As soon as I arrived to check in on the 12th, I was told the reservation I placed was for 1 night, on the 11th. I was also told that the rate I booked online ($89/night) could not be matched, and the best they could do was $165/night. To make matters worse, the manager actually blamed me for the mistake, claiming that "it's hard to select the right dates on those smart phones". I used a desktop to book my room, not that it matters though, because I made sure to double and triple check my reservation before letting the charge hit my card. They did refund me for the 11th, but after paying close to double what I originally booked, it's hard to consider that generous. Once I was finished checking in, I figured at least the worst of it was over. Boy was I wrong. Both rooms were absolutely disgusting. There were stains all over the sheets and comforters, on all 4 beds (they weren't coffee stains either, I can tell you that much). There were drawers full of garbage left uncleaned from previous guests - this wasn't just a standalone candy wrapper. There were also cobwebs everywhere in room 122. There was even a discarded feminine hygiene product under the foot of a bed in room 123. The bathroom vents in both rooms were about ready to fall from the ceiling, and the faucet for the bathtub in room 123 looked like it would also fall off if you touched it. The floor tile in room 123's bathroom didn't actually reach the bathtub. The tile stopped about 2-3 inches shy of the tub. These rooms were so disgusting I slept in my clothes so my skin wouldn't touch the bed.

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We stayed there last night(9/6/2020) and got a bad Experience from Front Desk Lady. Today(9/7/2020) morning when I went at front desk and ask for toothbrush and toothpaste and that one lady who decline to gave her name and she gave 2 name(Sasha or Sharon). I really don't understand why this lady was there even she doesn't want to give her name. I said I own days inn in NJ but she said I don't care even you owned or not. I ask manager name she said there is no manager right now so i said give hotel owner name and I got from someone that Surendra Shah. I supposed to call him because I don't get proper facility at your hotel and I was with my family and 1 year old kid as well and even when I said that I need late c/o then again she said you have to c/o from room 11.30 anyhow. I said I own hotel and I knew how hotel runs but she rude to me.

Alert Message to New Guest: I do have a bad experience so If any new guest wants to stay think twice before you book this hotel. I got to know as well an Indian restaurant also the same owner but that food also not good. I need refund my whole stay amount.

And moreover in the room there was a small bug. So I wan't stay in this hotel again.

Because of that lady my whole day spoiled. I need refund..

Thanks,
Dhruv.

The room smelled like Pine Sol. It was so strong that we kept the balcony door open all night to get fresh clean air. Do not go here! Spend the extra money and go to a nicer hotel. The hotel decor, sheets, etc. seem like they are from the 70's. The front staff were nice, but everything else was bad. The complimentary breakfast was just a bag with some fruit punch, a small bottle of water, a tangerine, and a cookie. You can hear the trucks on the interstate all night long. The photos on the Days Inn site are not current and do not show how old the facility is. Thought this was going to be a nice place to stay since it was approved by AAA, but we were so wrong. What was AAA thinking?

Stay away! The building is a dump and they cannot even provide bedding for the beds.

“Breakfast” consisted of a paper bag filled with a couple of oranges, granola bars, and bottles of water that was handed to us at check in.

The strong smell of curry from the Indian restaurant is nauseating in the lower building.

They also tried a bait and switch by giving us a smaller room without the sofa bed as was booked. Then once we were given the correct room, they could not provide bedding for the sofa bed.

The pool was poorly maintained and the air conditioner turned off frequently, causing the room temperature to swing 15-20 degrees all night long.

We ended up canceling our second night and going home early.

Found chipmunk "floating" in toilet. I was given different room but nothing was offered to reduce my bill and staff did not seam to concerned about "chippy" the chipmunk. Both rooms need a good DEEP CLEANING, dust. trash, and other things behind night stand.

Hi. The hotel does not offer shuttle service. The Days Inn and the Ramada Limited right next door to the Days Inn are the 2 closest hotels to Camel Beach - about 10 or so minutes give or take. I don't know if there is public transportation to the water park, but I've never seen any. If you call Camel Beach, they may be able to tell you about that. I hope that helps!
