My family stayed here for one night on martin luther king weekend because it was close to the mountain but not as expensive as the camelback resort. It was a great deal because it's so close to the mountain. It was snowing a lot when we got there so we decided to try out the hotel restaurant instead of leaving to go somewhere else. It was not good. Very slow service. Our food took over an hour to come out after we ordered. The waitress was very timid and seemed confused. We had to ask her for small plates and refills, but only when we could catch her because she rarely came over to us. She did tell us the kitchen was backed up which was why our food was taking forever but there was like 6 tables in the restaurant so i couldn't understand how they could possibly be backed up. The bus boy was very young and also confused. When our food finally came out it was good, not amazing, but average. Overall the room in the hotel was great, had a very comfy bed and seemed clean. The room the pool was in was freezing and there was a sign posted that said the pool heater was broken so it might be cold so we didn't get to try that out. There was an arcade that seemed like it would be fun for kids. Overall this hotel was average. The room was good, the restroom had terrible service, but if the pool wasn't broken it could have been a little better.

We’ve been staying g here on and off over the years and it’s changed a lot. Yes like all the reviews state, it’s outdated but very clean. Pool isn’t heated, sauna out of service, extremely slow elevator, but it’s sufficient for a night to two. It’s pretty quiet and comfortable and convenient and close to everything you’ll need in the area. The ambiance is wonderful too with all the fireplaces around and it overlooks the lake with the swans. We’ve been coming here for the winter activities and New Year’s Eve family party for a few years which is included in your stay, but yes they really need to spend some money and update this place. The room does not have a refrigerator or microwave but you can request one for $10 each.

I wanted a motel room near the NASCAR track in June 2021. I tried to book the room about 3 weeks in advance of the race, but most local motels were full for this date. This hotel had rooms available for $128 including tax and fees, so I stayed here. When I arrived at night I could not figure out how to check in. I drove around the parking lot looking for a sign indicating where the main entrance is. There was no sign, not for the entrance, not for the office/ lobby, and not even for the name of the hotel. So I parked and walked into a door that seemed more prominent than the others. The lobby was nice. The room was okay. I had booked a handicapped room with king bed. The room was small, plain and unremarkable. The TV was small and positioned low, perfect for poor viewing from the bed. The closet was not a closet but it was a cheap metal clothes tree on wheels, set out in the room. Not sure if this is related to handicap designation. There is in-room coffee but no microwave or fridge. The huge handicap-appropriate bathroom needed more furnishings and something to enliven the blank walls. Back near the lobby I noticed that the hotel's bar was open at 9:30pm, but I didn't use it. I walked around the outdoor pool after dark, and it seemed very nice and people were enjoying it. Near the pool there is a large wood deck overlooking a pond, with views of the ski mountain nearby. Breakfast was available but not included in the room price. Breakfast started at 8am on a Sunday, which was too late given my plans for the day. I just used the place as a quick sleepover. I would not choose this hotel again, but it served the need and the price was okay.

Please save your money to book camelback right next door. This hotel is just nasty the hallways smelled like piss there was duck tape holding together the steps in the stairways, the room had dust everywhere as if it hadn’t been fully cleaned in god knows how long. The bathroom in the room had mold on the shower curtain as well as the shower head and all around the toilet. When I turned the sink water on for the first time it came out brown So we brushed our teeth with bottled water. This is not just me over reacting because myself and my family booked 8 rooms for the weekend and they all were nasty some worse than others. One room had holes in the wall as if an old headboard was ripped from the wall and not put back, another room had the air conditioner leak so bad it ruined there clothes. This hotel is in no way a resort the so called gym had 1 working treadmill and the rest if the equipment was broken. They have a small game room for kids and the games don’t work but guess what they still take your money. The only ok thing about this hotel was the outdoor pool which is open 24 hours but that doesn’t really matter because the lights at the pool don’t work so it’s completely dark outside. We didn’t eat here because of how nasty the rest of the hotel was I can imagine what the kitchen was like. Please stay far away from this place they are in serious need of a renovation and it’s a shame because this place has potential to be great.

The rooms were ok & some of the staff were helpful as best as they were trained or cared. Both pools were suppose to be open but neither one of them were because they were not cleaned which is a health hazard to even attempt it especially the outdoors one which did not say it was closed. That being the case we were not able to use them along with the sauna. We had breakfast and dinner there and both times it was good especially dinner when the sous chef was on.This place does have potential if someone cared.

The rooms are dated and in need of renovation.
I found a used coffee pouch in the coffee machine as well as hairs and a used band aid in the bathroom, The mountain view was good but the sliding door was difficult to open as it would not slide on the track. The pool was under renovation which was not mention to me at the time of booking. I found it expensive for the service you get. The person who took care of me at check-in was very friendly and helpful. The TV reception was not the greatest especially when I was watching the Super Bowl. They only have one ice machine which is on the 4th floor. I noticed they had Keurig coffee cups in the room but no Keuring machine. There is an onsite restaurant which I found the food to be very good and fairly priced.

I booked 2 nights & after driving far & hiking all day the guy at desk told me I could check in he saw my name on list and to come back in an hour because he had no internet. All I can say is WOW needless to say I then at 7:00 at night had to scramble around to find somewhere else to stay. Don’t waste your money or your time here the pictures look nice and that’s about it, I have tryed calling to talk to the manager here and get put on hold or no one ever answers the phone I gave up trying to d’Irak with someone here bc clearly no one cares. Save your self some aggravation and scroll past this place. I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to in order to put a review on here

Why would you fire Ryan?

Meant to say... Who's Ryan. I have NO authority to fire anyone
Answer from bageltosser91
because management is down the tubes right now. do not stay at this hotel until they at least bring Ryan Back. They fired their best employee for calling the owners on the manager because the manager wanted him to half clean the pools.

I apologize for the late reply. We took our 14 lb dog and the hotel had no problem with it. I believe that they have rooms designated for guests with dogs. Hope that helps.
