All of the previous reviews on this site are totally true! We absolutely loved our (too short) stay at this charming B&B tucked away in a small quiet village yet convenient to all area attractions. Being the only guests at the time of our stay could have been a bit awkward but Bruce and Jan are so friendly and helpful,...

Oh, I'm so glad you wrote. You two were so much fun to visit with. And thanks for posting pictures - it's always so interesting to see your property and area through another person's view. Hoping you come back soon - the cookie jar is full!

My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a brief few days from 8/10/16 - 8/12/16 at this wonderful B&B, in celebration of our 48th anniversary. As Christmas freaks, we were ecstatic to learn of the availability of the "Kriss Kringle" room, beautifully decorated in a Christmas theme. Jan was also kind enough to arrange for chocolates and...

Charlie - Thanks so much for your wonderful post. We're so glad that you and Sherry were able to visit. But next time you need to tell us it's your anniversary! I'm glad you two got to explore some of the out-of-the-way gems of Lancaster County, and to take home a quilt. There are surprises around every corner. We hope...

The peace and calm was very refreshing. Last year I commented on the food - it is still amazing! Can't stop thinking about Jan's watermelon with lavender syrup, Amish sausage, and good conversation. Each visit there are interesting people to meet and information shared about the history of the community. The new coffee table book that Bruce has published is...

Jeana - Thanks so much for writing. If you visit next year, I hope we have a little cooler weather! This morning is just delightful and the high today is supposed to be 79. Ahhhhh! Glad you liked the Amish cake - the recipe is from a friend of mine.

Bruce and Jan are friendly people and Jan serves up a wonderful breakfast. Quiet and very comfortable place. Will definitey visit again and heartily reccomend for a relaxing time. My daughter and I stayed while attending Hershey Quilt Odyssey weekend. We stayed in Rose Room Suite. Was nice to use single private jacuzzi before crawling into awesome King feather bed.

Thanks for posting. Interesting that the town seemed quiet to you - on the town-wide yard sale weekend!!! That's a busy time! Normally it's even quieter!!! So glad that you included us in your weekend and that you had time to spend together.

We always look forward to hosting your group. Everyone is so nice and, with the addition of wine, the stories can be quite entertaining. It has been great getting to know everyone over the years. Thanks for including us in your group....and finding those local birdhouses! I can't wait to get one!

My wife Sharon and I spent several days at the Artist's Inn for a short vacation. The house and location is lovely and very peaceful. The Inn is centrally located, so it's easy to visit all the surrounding towns. The four course breakfast was out of this world and you will never meet a nicer couple than the owners Jan...

Thanks for posting Michael! We enjoyed your visit - especially the conversations at breakfast. We're so glad that you were able to take in some of the local sites - like the auction.
