Stopped in this week to camp with some friends from Maine. Although this is an older campground, I feel it was part of its charm. Sites are located in the woods, plenty of shade. We were tenting yet still had electric and water on our site. The owners where friendly and willing to accommodate us with a wood delivery to...

I absolutely L.O.V.E. Sandy Valley! We have been camping here, the same weekend every year on the same site, for the last 20 years. The owners are always willing to help with whatever you need and even go out of their way. The bathrooms are old, but they're always clean when we go there, which isn't on a holiday weekend...

We had to bring our flashlights into the spider infested showers. We felt like 'outsiders' at our cabin site because all the people around us (in rv's) were obviously permanant residents...felt like our...

We camped here this past weekend and the campground was filthy. The site itself had garbage all on it, the bathrooms were some of the worst bathrooms I have ever seen in my life. The women's room had one toilet that wasn't clogged at any given time and there was no soap. The mens room, from what my boyfriend explained to...

Owners at the campground went out of their way to make us comfortable and were very accommodating with our late check in .well recommended. Had a beautiful tent site on the lake with nicely maintained table and fire pit. Was a plus that the tent site was nicely leveled.
