Hotel's Favourite
Very, very clean. My room was so clean I thought I was the first person to stay there. Nice pool, but just a little chilly. Took a couple of minutes to get used to the temperature. Easy enough to get to off the I-81.

Great one night stay. Staff were great and the hotel really stepped up to responding to the virus. Room was clean, hand sanitizer was available, menus for take out were ready, and they had a hermetically sealed breakfast ready with items all wrapped. Room was very comfortable.

We originally booked a room at split rock resort in Lake Harmony when we got there there was mold everywhere and the rooms were in pretty bad shape. There were two separate families and had 2 Rooms they didn’t even put us in adjoining rooms. We drove 6 1/2 hours and it was late.. we were tired we looked up hotels in the area and decided to try the Hilton in Wilkes Barre, PA the service has exceeded our expectations. Liz was right at the desk to greet us she even gave us adjoining rooms without us asking. The hotel is amazing so clean and they partner with Lysol so during COVID there rooms are sanitized. I would highly recommend this hotel. I don’t normally write reviews but Liz was absolutely fantastic!! Thankyou so much for accommodating us at the last minute!

+1
I was working in the Pocono area for nearly 2 months, I chose this hotel, because i like the rewards and Hilton garden hotel.
When I arrived I was very pleased with the amount of shops, restaurants and grocery stores Near the hotel.
At the hotel the gym is open, the business center is open, the pool, bar and restaurant in the evening are closed due to Covid.
Breakfast is served, made to order eggs and sides or you can select from bagels, juices, coffee and fresh fruit, starting at 6am.
There are two patios outside or there is a nice sitting area in the lobby.
I recommend this hotel to anyone that is here for business, vacation, weddings or just passing through, I hope my return will be soon.

I would give the stay a zero if I could. I ended up leaving at 1 am because my bathroom toilet over flowed into my room and the man working the front desk knew were the plungers were located and told me he didn’t know when I originally asked him for one prior to the room flooding. I was party of a wedding that blocked off several rooms at the hotel. The employee at the front desk that I asked for help did not care if I stayed in the toilet water room or drove home drunk. He told me there were no other rooms available and said he would call other hotels and ask if they had rooms. I watched him pick up the phone and did not dial any numbers or speak to anyone. I had to have my father drive a half hour to get me and then another half hour home at 1 am because the man at the front desk was lazy and did not go get me a plunger when I first went to the desk asking for help. I emailed the hotel manager a few days ago informing him of this service and he has not responded back. I was very disappointed in the service and overall experience.

The hotel is clean overall. The breakfast buffet is expensive and no better than a Holiday Inn Express, which is free. Thus, I said no thanks and went elsewhere to eat in the morning. The Fitness Center is very hot, tiny and never had any sanitary wipes the entire week I was there, even though they have a wipe dispenser. It was always empty. They never asked if I wanted room service and they only cleaned my room once in six days. My last night (Friday) was noisy. Lots of slamming doors and people running up and down the hallway until after midnight. This was irritating, as I had to get up at 03:30 to go to the airport.

Worst stay we have ever had! It was loud and dirty. We travel on a monthly basis and the last three stays at this hotel were the worst. Staff did nothing about the noise. One night we had to listen to music so loud next door we couldn't here the TV, called the front desk and nothing was done. Finally went down to the front desk and still nothing was done. Doors slamming until 2 AM. We will not stay at this hotel ever again, it was that bad. I have been a Hilton Honors member for many years and never experienced anything like we did these past three stays. From this point on we will be staying at a Marriott if we have to stray in Wilkes-Barre, otherwise we will just keep driving .

Great check in. Nice hotel. Hot water in the bathroom was lacking and bathroom floor needed more cleaning. TV channels were minimal. Difficult to find much to watch. Beds were fairly comfortable, pillows were great. Not much in terms of toiletries in bathroom.

The hotel was as expected and more. Clean, spacious enough for two nights while we picked our daughter up from camp, has a pool, etc. The check-in clerk was especially friendly and accommodating. A special shout out goes to the staff who did a “search and rescue” operation for a very important stuffed hippo that my daughter left at the property. They sent him back to us and they were so awesome about the whole thing. I will stay there again next time I’m in the Wilkes-Barre area.

Room Tip: Don’t order from the nearby Red Robin. They totally messed up our order.

The desk staff was very nice and the room was nice but the breakfast set-up was not so good. You can order off the menu or help yourself to some things, very poorly run. For what we paid for the room everything should be included. A stupid set up with a crabby looking breakfast hostess. Everything should have been included and just let us help ourselves to the food. I left aggravated because I had to take eggs because they were put on my plate instead of having french toast which was not included. I would not stay there again because of a poorly run breakfast set up and a crabby hostess.

It has been a while....but pool was not open in August. Still a very nice place to stay😊
My apologies for the long delay in responding. Yes, we do have a Jacuzzi in our pool area and the pool is accessible 24 hours. Lastly, the property is 100% non-smoking.
Yes, we offer complimentary transportation to the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino
Hello gosteelers81,
Yes we, have a shuttle that transports to the arena. Depending on the event a sign-up time might be required. We do not take advance reservations just inquire at check-in. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks
Hello twodabeach331499,
Thank you for your inquiry. Honestly, the answer is "yes" to both your questions. Mohegan Sun Arena is a 1/8th of a mile from here and across the street. Unfortunately there is not a sidewalk. So the ground is still staurated. We also will have a shuttle available. Sign-up is first come -first serve at check-in for registered guests.
Safe travels!
