My wife chanced upon this B&B when we were planning our trip to the US. We had heard of Newport but decided to go with Bristol House based on the rave reviews! The reviews reflect the excellent experience we enjoyed. We stayed 5 nights and used this as our base to explore the Bristol and Newport area. We have stayed...

We came across Bristol as we were exploring places to stay while in the Newport area (Mansion touring)! Kathleen provided such a wonderful bedroom to stay in, everything was very nice, plush, and clean. She fed us very well both gourmet breakfast and her yummy homemade cookies with coffee at night. She helped guide us with our plans while in...

Debbie & Russ, We so enjoyed meeting both of you and are glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope the peanut butter and honey sandwiches along with the cookies made it at least halfway to MI! Looking forward to seeing you both again soon! Kathleen

We booked this B&B due to its proximity to Warren and Bristol. We had no expectations, just wanted a comfortable bed and meal. What we got was an inn run by a woman who has anticipated virtually all of your needs, and has an immaculate facility with food that surpasses anything you will find at any 4 star hotel. It's...

Ted& Bev, What a pleasure It was to meet you both! Thank you so much for your kind words. That you both had a wonderful stay that "exceeded your expectations" is the foundation of which our B&B was built on. We hope to see you both again really soon! Kathleen

We were welcomed warmly by Kathleen and went on to enjoy a brief stay of just 2 nights. Kathleen must put a lot of effort into appearing to make no effort. The en-suite room was all that you could ask for and the breakfasts were great - unusual and tasty - a good accompaniment to a chat with Kathleen and...

My husband and I stayed at the Bristol House in early March 2014. We were in the Harbor Room, which was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed linens were like heaven! Our room had a sink, but the bathroom was separate. However this was only a minor inconvenience, as the bathroom was dedicated for our use exclusively (the other...

Victoria, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property! We have made notes in your guest profile to remind us on your next visit to go lighter/healthier on the breakfast and to have brewed coffee ready for you. Our policy at Bristol House is to "exceed our guests expectations"! So, if there is anything else we...

In the area for a hairshow in Providence and wanted a cozy stay in Bristol. Kathleen is a great host and a great foodie. I enjoyed riding the bike trail and dining at the Dewolf tavern. My stay was very comfortable. I will be back!

So many wonderful reviews and for good reason. This is a place to receive wonderful hospitality. From the arrival cookies to a home cooked breakfast, and coffee or tea anytime you like. Wonderful sitting area and dining room downstairs where you can enjoy the peacefulness of the backyard. All 3 rooms upstairs have a bathroom, just one is detached. The...

My wife and I went to Bristol, RI the first weekend of March 2014 and we had the chance to stay at Bristol House. We had a lot of planned activities but the best was just coming back and relaxing at the house. The Harbor Room was spacious. The bed! oh my god! My wife just did not want to...

We just stayed at Bristol House for a wedding. We are not usually "B&B people" but Bristol House exceeded our expectations. Kathleen is warm, friendly, and accommodating without being the least bit intrusive. We truly felt taken care of in the best way. And Kathleen's breakfast is delicious - homemade granola, fresh fruit, made-to-order pancakes and maple-glazed bacon. Yum! The...
