We have been coming here for 40 years and raised our children on this beach in the summers. That was when Bill was here and then John. This summer there is little to no supervision. Campers run their generators past time, the management does not maintain enforcement of quiet time and campers leave decorative lighting on all night disturbing their...

This is a very small campground right on the corner of the Breachway and Atlantic. There is little to do except walk the beach, fish and best of all rest. The campground is solely for self-contained campers/motorhome. A great place to visit for a short time.

This is my favorite beach if all time. I've been here countless times never to be disappointed. I spend the whole day fishing and swimming. There are blufish and stripers to catch all around the area in the river canal mostly. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a wonderful relaxing time with there friends or family.

Waking up on the beach is amazing. Hearing the waves in your camper 24/7, ditto. That is, when the generators stop. And they never stop until 8 pm. Practically every camper has one or 2 or 3, because campfires are not allowed. NO charcoal grills. So everyone is living inside their campers as if they were home. Deep breath. Ok....

Charlestown Breachway is my favorite state beach. Tucked away in Charlestown, it features a very small parking lot which limits the number of beachgoers and makes it one of the quieter beaches you can visit. The beach itself is large, but the small lot means you won't be packed in with other people on the dunes. However, you have to...

If you love the beach, this location cannot be beat! If you don't want to be close to your neighbors, this is not the place for you. Our slide-outs were about 6 inches from our neighbors awning. The campers are just about on top of each other. There is no privacy. But we went to spend the days on the...

This is a really cool location & very different to everywhere we've stayed on our roadtrip so far! Right on the water & only $20 a night (I think it's cheaper if you're a Rhode Island resident). They don't have any facilities other than toilets & no hookups, but they mentioned if we went to the other state park a...

This is where I spend the better part of my summer vacation. It's my beach and one of my favorite fishing spots. Never used the campgrounds. I come here all through the year and have for the past twenty years. It's a wonderful place.

What it is: The camping area at the Charlestown Breachway (CBW) is enjoyed by thousands of people each year. The RV camping area affords vistors access to some of the nicest beaches on the East Coast, by foot or boat and there is a well maintained small boat launch area at the NW corner of the property. Fishing is terrific...

Great location, location, location. That's it. No facilities, I couldn't even find a toilet and shower. No electricity. It's just a parking lot for RV's. Close to a river and to the beach. The beach was great.
