I have stayed at this place before and while location is great, I really wish they accept dogs at this property (during the summer months). My husband likes this place and I would too but they're not pet friendly as others around the area. Last time I visited a friend who was staying at the Bed & Breakfast (I recommended...

I know to book early to get room 14. Must admit my 23 year old daughter and had no desire to visit Watch Hill Block Island etc. I'm up at 4am( ugh) but soon see the pink sky over the ocean and soon enuf Gene has great coffee at 720. We have breakfast at many places esp Brewed Awakenings or...

I highly recommend this motel. It is popular with adults and families. Cannot beat the location and convenience of having the beach across the street. It is always impecably neat and clean. And the staff is always available and friendly. The rooms have undergone recent updates which are very nice - but I loved the old rooms just the way...

This was our second time at the Anchor motel and we will definitely return! This year we stayed in a B&B room which gave our family of four (2 teenagers) a bit more room and privacy. We also enjoyed having a common room and porch. The room was very clean, beds comfortable and having a refrigerator is convenient. The best...

It was an excellent stay. All aspects of our stay were very positive. We will stay every season if possible. This was our third time and was as good as the first time. This is a simple, clean, and very convenient location.

Room was very clean, owners are available to help with questions. It is in a wonderful location, right across the street from a beautiful beach.Motel room was quiet. We liked having a fridge in the room also.

If you're looking for 5 star accomadations, this isn't the place. But if you're looking for a hotel directly across a 2 lane road from the beach, which is family owned and operated by some very nice people, this is it. The beds are comfy, there's enough room in the hotel room for a family of 4. It's clean and...

As usual we had a wonderful stay. I have been vacationing in Narragansett since 2007 and always stay at The Anchor. Every year we enjoy clean rooms, a short walk to the gorgeous beach and great hospitality. The owners have tons of local info on hand including a binder of their favorite menus. They are friendly and have been making...

Thank you for writing such a lovely review! My family and I are very happy to hear you have been enjoying your stays over the past 9 years! Thank you for pointing out our new furniture! As you mentioned, we have just finished updating most of our furniture to a fresh white beachy style. Giving our rooms a more coastal...

spent only one night but was impressed with the attention to detail...plenty of comfy pillows..spotlessly clean..right across from the ocean...would have liked more towels..nice fridge ..no microwave..check and see if you can bring your own micro or electric frying pan..couldn't connect to wifi..didn't notice a bbq area...for a beach motel, this is a great little gem.

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us recently! You are correct in your observation that there is no BBQ area but we have had people bring their own little grills and grill right off their personal porch or the grassy area directly outside the office. There is a microwave available for use in...

My Family and I stayed for a couple of days at the end of April 2016. This has to be one of the nicest places we stayed at while in Narragansett. The place is very clean inside and out. The view and sound of the ocean is wonderful. The staff there is very polite and kind. We will certainly stay...

It is great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us recently! We appreciate you visiting Narragansett during the off-season, as business is always slow at that time. My family and I would like to thank you for your kind 5-star review as every review makes a difference for our small motel. We hope to see you again real soon!
