My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We were in the area to visit family and friends and to do some sightseeing in Newport. There were many interesting things to do in the area that we were unable to see in a short time so we will be back. Heather was friendly and efficient, and had lots of...

For our wedding anniversary last week, my husband and I chose to return for our second stay at Meyer House. Situated on a wonderful slice of former farmland, the property is about a half-mile from the shore, yet is so quiet that you can still hear the surf at night (along with an occasional nocturnal "moo" from the nearby local...

I would like to recommend this B&B but I really can't. It's a lovely house and the breakfasts are amazing, but I was extremely uncomfortable here. There are laminated notes all over the house, some are framed and hung on the wall or on the bedside table; they have instructions for every little thing, telling you what you should be...

I am saddened to hear your comments. I will take them into careful consideration. As far as the India reference, these comments were part of bigger conversation. I do not wish anybody harm. In fact, I volunteer locally and wish we could do more to help our struggling citizens here in the US. Thank you.

We stayed at Meyer House 8/19 - 8/21/16 for a wedding we attended in Rhode Island. This was our first time at a B&B and it was outstanding. Everything was just wonderful. Our room was large, well appointed and very clean, as was the adjoining bathroom. The entire home was very nice and had ample space to sit and relax....

The grounds are filled with gorgeous gardens. The inside has woodwork all over it. The bedroom had a beautiful view actually i think...

We were visiting friends at Roy Carpenter's Beach and we're looking for a place to stay. My wife found Meyer House and what a find it was! Heather, the owner, operator and chef could not have been more welcoming. The room was incredibly comfortable, the ensuite private bath large and fully up to date ( even the water pressure outstanding...

I recently spent two days/nights at the Eco-friendly Meyer House B&B. Every positive superlative can be used to describe this wonderful gem. First of all, Heather is the perfect host. Her breakfasts are healthy, delicious with locally sourced ingredients and special touches like delicious homemade applesauce and wild grape jam. The house, rooms, grounds all lend themselves to relaxation. It...

Close proximity to great beaches and attractions, attentive (but not intrusive) host, beautiful gardens (see pictures). Overall a wonderful getaway. Last week was our second stay at the Meyer House. Both of the rooms/suites are spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. Hope to be back soon.

Beautifully maintained grounds, an excellent hostess who knows not to be intrusive, and a perfect place to relax and unwind from the stressors of life. Rabbits, turkey, and deer roam the area. Highly recommended.

“The larger en suite room with the sitting area was perfect for my wife and myself. If you need a cab to a local restaurant like the Matunuck Oyster Bar, allow for upwards of an hour wait to be picked up and/or drooped off by the local cab company (not unexpected give the slightly remote location); apparently there is an Uber presence in the area, which we might have made use of if we were aware of it.”
