Rooms were clean, you walk in and there is local fresh baked bread on the table and parched peanuts. A booklet about the history of the area was interesting. Free WiFi, TV worked fine. Just nice, plain, but nice. Fishing, walking trails, quietness of the...More
The cabins here are perfect. Everything you can need. We stayed here an entire week. Close enough to do everything in South Carolina. Seriously cant say enough great things about the place. AC, TV, Wifi, fishing, trails, simply awesome!

Barnwell State Park is a great park. The cabins are really nice with two bedrooms. There are five total. Trails are nice and there is a swimming area. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Stay the weekend here and enjoy nature!
I am a supporting member of Palmetto State Hangers. We are an organized group with officers and have several hammock outings a year at South Carolina State Parks in their primitive group site areas. I am exploring the idea of hosting one of our group's sponsored outings at the group site at Barnwell State Park. Can you please me more about this group site. I live in Denmark, SC and will visit with you at a convenient time for your staff during a week day. Please suggest the best time and day for this. I look forward to meeting and talking with you. Thank you.

"Cabin #1 was great, we would like to try cabin #3 for the location close to the trail and pond."
