It was like a dream staying at this elegant B&B. The owners and staff were so kind, helpful and hospitable. The Inn is located close to the waterfront and shopping district. Breakfasts were always great and the cocktail hour every evening on the porch was a delightful surprise. Thank you for several days filed with great memories!

We were in a suite on the main floor, and it was totally luxurious and completely satisfying. I would recommend the Cuthbert Inn to anyone wanting a quintessentially "Southern" experience. The location is just across from the bay and marina, and very convenient to the downtown area. We especially enjoyed the 5pm "happy hours" as well as the delicious breakfasts....

Thank you for reviewing us. Cuthbert House Inn is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums... Guests appreciate that most of our rooms have water views. The Eastlake Suite is on the main floor and overlooks the sailboats moored on the Intracoastal Waterway.

This historical Inn was excellent! The owners and staff were warm and welcoming as was the whole environment of the house. Everything was ready and at my fingertips even before I realized I needed it. The room was spacious and comfortable: cool and just what was needed after a hot busy day watching the air show! We enjoyed the social...

So glad you could come for the air show. Beaufort has a variety of festivals and events throughout the year: the Beaufort International Film Festival, Taste of Beaufort, Waterfest, Dragon Boat Race, Shrimp Fest, Night on the Town, to name a few. We hope you will join us again sometime soon.

We just had one night at the Cuthbert House Inn, to short. The Inn has an ideal location on the Beaufort River, steps from town. We stayed in an apt. on the ground floor, well appointed and comfortable. The wine and nibbles on the porch set the stage for a lovely spring evening. Connie and Ed are well informed and...

Thank you for your kind words. We wish you could have stayed longer too! Breakfast is a great part of staying at a bed and breakfast. It was so nice to see a compliment for our brand new recipe. Because we are part French, we try to include some of those culinary traditions. Eggs Forestieres is a recipe we came...

Our second visit was with new owners. Still wonderful, with different touches. Ed and Connie go out of their way to make you so comfortable that you never want to leave. The breakfasts are delicious and the social hour is a lovely way to spend pre-dinner, meeting new friends and enjoying a glass of wine and apps. We really like...

Ed and Connie are very warm and welcoming innkeepers. They host a cocktail hour every day at 5:00 for the inn guests that is always lots of fun. The Inn staff clearly really care about taking care of the needs of their guests. The Inn is just beautiful, and located in the historic district, within easy walking distance of everything...

When we came barging in a bit earlier than expected, Ed was there to greet us with a smile on his face! We had been traveling from Charleston and arrived a bit earlier than expected, Ed was fantastic, gave us a tour of the house, history of the house, told us about the town, and what restaurants he recommended. Our...

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope you will have an occasion to come back sometime. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It is half of the bed and breakfast experience! We were in Beaufort for just one day and stayed the night at the Cuthbert House Inn. Bed and Breakfast: the first part says bed, so we focus of the details of getting a great night 's sleep- mattress, bedding, pillows... The second part is breakfast, where we focus on freshness and quality. We take reservations for breakfast every 15 minutes in order to individually prepare each guest's meal. We use fresh ingredients like fresh blueberries and...

It is impossible to review fairly this gem that sits on and sports wonderful views of the Harbor River. We saw 4 of and stayed in 2 the rooms, and all were spacious and beautifully appointed.
