My wife Melanie and I are originally from New Orleans, and when we were growing up down there we often spent overnight stays at some of the most famous plantations homes. While on a smaller scale, but no less grade of one, we felt like we were swept back 120+ years in time. The staff is gracious and the reception...

My wife and I stayed at the Cuthbert House Inn for five nights over Thanksgiving. Normally I do not gush in my reviews but it is hard not to in this case. I can think of nothing to criticize. The bed was comfortable, the room beautifully decorated and well lit, the sitting areas nice and the breakfasts quite good. Cuthbert...

Stayed 2 nights. The room was lovely. View of the marsh and marina was just beautiful, especially at sunset. Great cocktail hour on the front porch and delicious breakfast. The innkeepers were extremely helpful in all matters. Can't wait to return.

Stayed one night. Home, rooms were absolutely beautiful. Our bathroom was small, but still luxurious. Best part were the views and sunset from either the lower porch or the upper balcony. Would love to stay here again.

We prefer B&Bs. Our first time in Beaufort. The Cuthbert House was among our favorite throughout the South. Friendly staff, great wine and cheese gathering. It includes the staff and a friend of the owner in the living room. Great local conversation. You feel like like family. We will return..

For our first trip to Beaufort we decided on a B&B. The Cuthbert House caught our eye and thankfully so. The room was small, but the comfortable king size bed overcame that objection. The bathroom was outstanding, bright and a huge shower. At 5 PM, Wes brings hor d'oeuvres and your choice of red or white wines. The Inn is...
