I called the Rhett House to modify my three bedroom reservation. I spoke to Amy. My purpose was to cancel one of the three rooms I had reserved because I had gotten word that my friend could not join us. Amy was shockingly rude. At first she seemed annoyed that she was in

We had a "cottage" room reserved, which is not in the main house, but we actually prefer that. The staff was friendly, attentive, and words alone cannot describe how fabulous the breakfast is! They also have cookies, tea, etc, during the day and in the evening, offer cheese,

Staying at this 200 year-old inn was like taking a trip back in time. The history and chef Beverly were the drawing cards for us. Chef Beverly’s breakfast was highly anticipated and did not disappoint! DELICIOUS! We wish we could have taken the historical walking tour that was

I can't imagine going back to Beaufort and not staying at the historic Rhett House. Accommodations, host/owners, hospitality, and food were second to none. The breakfast was made to order in a spectacular dining room, and simply delicious. Their chef is excellent. The rooms

What a wonderful experience I had here. The staff is great, the breakfast was perfect and offers gluten free and vegetarian options. I've stayed here before and each time the room felt unique and I've got to say the homemade cookies, before-dinner cheese tray and after-dinner

We have stayed in the cottage and main house. The large room with the screened porch in the main house is very nice! We also stayed in the room with the private entrance, which is on the side of the main house porch - it is a smaller room. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms several times - had a private porch and very large bathroom, very quiet. If you stay in the cottage, you do have to go across the street for breakfast but that was not an inconvenience.

I think either one would be fine. We were in the "Cottage" and had the room that the owner's son stays in. I think it is probably a bit quieter in the cottage because it is set further back and there is a lovely walled cemetery across the street. The nice thing about the Inn rooms is that you are in the original antique building with quick access to the lovely porches, the dining room and parlor (and the kitchen where you can go for an evening dessert!). However, it is literally a 1-2 min walk from the cottage to the main inn. The parlor level of the inn might be a bit noisier because it would be near all the main rooms and entry foyer (but it is not a noisy inn so this is all relative) Bottom line - you can't go wrong with either! Have a wonderful time!

My husband and I stayed there to celebrate our anniversary. Lovely stay, but we didn't take our Maltese then....I do understand it is pet friendly in the adjacent buildings, so I suggest you check it out with them. Enjoy your vacation!

Because it is a B&B, breakfast is included. The staff, also prepares amazing desserts each evening, which is also included in price. This was a very pleasant surprise to us. The desserts were delicious and it allowed us time to meet and visit with other couples staying at the inn.

I suggest you call them to find out. I do know they do have a pet friendly lodging....good luck!
