The set up was perfect for two women. We were supposed to be three. Nice location. Comfortable. Private. Secure. Good shower. Handy washer dryer. All good. Highly recommend. No need to shop for snacks ahead of time. There were plenty left for us Fabulous place for parents and a child or two. Free parking spot. Enjoyed very much

Way better than staying at a B&B, this is like having your own two-story house in a quiet residential Charleston neighborhood, but with all the benefits of staying at a five-star hotel. Lisa and Geoff have thought of everything: We arrived to find all sorts of goodies in the kitchen ( from a nice bottle of wine to a chocolate...

Our family of 4 adults stayed at Charlotte Street Cottage for a week during Christmas. The cottage is lovely and welcoming. Even though the cottage is an older lovingly restored structure, inside there is a perfect blend of all the modern amenities you need. From the moment you enter through the gate you are welcomed by the most lovely gardens...

Great cottage in Charleston. Close to all of the restaurants and sights in Charleston. Lisa and Goeff the owners are warm and welcoming. A good place for 2 couples. Spent Thanksgiving 2014 there , so walked everywhere and used pedi cab and taxi only a few times late night. Best of all worlds at Charlotte Street Cottage. Great food at...

The Charlotte St Cottage was an absolutely wonderful guest house in every way. The building is well-appointed and in great shape. The gardens are beautiful. The hosts, who live in the main house on grounds, could not have been friendlier. They made us feel like we were their personal guests and friends. They corrected the few problems IMMEDIATELY! They stocked...

Many thanks for your review! It is always good to know we met or exceeded your expectations! Since the downtown district is about a square mile, it is always less than a mile to anywhere! We hope you can return and look forward to then!

The Charlotte Street Cottage is a delightful place to stay. It is very comfortable, set in a beautiful garden and only minutes away from the tourist center, King Street restaurants, or anywhere else you might like to go in Charleston. There is a private garden with banana lounges, a courtyard with table and chairs and a patio area with bar-b-q...

We stayed five nights at this intimate, well-appointed cottage in a private garden that made our visit to Charleston an authentic Southern experience. It’s an old brick cottage that used to be a “kitchen house” in the back of a large home on a tree-lined street. It is centrally located, walking distance to the main town and the College of...

A great stay in Charleston, definitely influences that living in town is fun and exciting. Renting the cottage allows the flexibility and space for more possibilities than simply staying in a bed and breakfast or hotel. Our air condition was acting up a little bit but Lisa got it fixed immediately which was fabulous. Also if you like history, I...

The four of us (2 couples) thorougly enjoyed our recent visit to Charleston, and our stay at Charlotte Street Cottage. Lisa & Geoff were wonderful hosts. “This is an antebellum guest house that is part of an historic, residential property. It is not a hotel. It has two bedrooms and one full bath upstairs. It has a full kitchen that is well-appointed. Don't plan to make dinner; the restaurants in Charleston are too good to miss. Ask the hosts for their recommendations.”
