The pink historical Mills House is now known as Wyndham Grand Hotel and is located on the corner of Queen and Meeting Streets. It is handy to the “Museum Mile’. We didn’t go inside but admired the beautiful historical building from the outside.
Our stay here was very comfortable. The lobby and surrounding areas including the courtyard are spotless and relaxing. The staff was attentive including beverage service poolside and the Concierge was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about the city and tours. …
I stay at the Wyndham Mills House often. I do believe the service and perks are trending down. Not the same as it was in December when we last stayed there . This has been my place to take out of state guest to show off Southern Hospitality. I may have to look at other options.
The folks at this hotel went above and beyond in every aspect of customer service. They knew us from the moment we walked through the door and took care of us. The valet and bellmen were amazing. All the staff went the distance.
