We have stayed at different locations while in Charleston but Two Meeting Street Inn is by far the most enjoyable. Time has been taken to polish every detail so please, if you do stay, sit back, relax and let the beauty and charm of this wonderful inn touch your very soul.

The Inn is located in a beautiful and peaceful location. In addition, I found the treatment to be that of genuine kindness, and particularly from Blanch. Blanch was incredibly gracious and genuinely kind to me. She is the reason I chose to stay at the inn several times.

This is a must if you have time in Charleston. The Inn is convenient on Meeting Street. The area is quiet and allows you to sleep and relax very well. Breakfasts are terrific. Afternoon Tea and evening Sherry are also worth the time.

My husband and I had seen this B& B when we were on a previous trip to Charleston, and thought it looked charming. This time we were able to book a room there, and it was lovely! We booked the "master bedroom" which had a lovely porch overlooking the "Battery". It was a large room with a sitting area and...

This is the place I've always wanted to stay in Charleston. It's right on the Battery, with a gorgeous home and gorgeous gardens. It did not disappoint! We actually brought our two young adult sons along with us because we were there right after a family reunion in NC. Everything was perfect -- a beautiful large room, very comfy beds,...

My husband and I, with our two college-age sons, had two rooms here for a 6-day family trip to Charleston, our first time to the state. We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations, the location, the staff, and the overall experience of this gracious inn. The front porch was a beautiful hangout for breakfast and in the evenings. We...

We stayed here because it was in the historic district, and we were not disappointed! The staff were all so helpful. They even made reservations for our dining. Lovely home that includes a spacious veranda, Tiffany stained glass windows, and more. Sherry was available in the dining room (self-serve), and afternoon tea was offered every day. We'd go back in...

My sister and I are teachers who love to travel during the summer months. We have stayed in many, many inns and B & B's over the years. Having never visited Charleston before, we wanted to stay in style to enjoy our visit. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived for check in with a nice,...

Just off the "battery" waterfront and walkable to everything. The inn is well cared for, well decorated and well staffed. The large wrap around porch is perfect for breakfast, afternon tea and just relaxing (though there were mosquitoes biting!) Breakfasts were "plated" so they could be taken on the porch or dining room and included an egg pastry or quiche-like...

Two Meeting Street Inn spoiled us for future bed and breakfast stays. We can't imagine any better place to stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S.! While it is a little pricey, it was worth it to pamper ourselves on our anniversary. Breakfast each day was excellent and satisfying. Afternoon tea with its pastries was a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Circa 1890. In the center of the historic district overlooking prestigious South Battery, this turreted Queen Anne was built as a wedding gift from a father to his daughter. It is one of the area's oldest bed & breakfast inns, offering Southern hospitality and a romantic heritage. Tiffany stained-glass windows, crystal chandeliers and English oak woodwork are accented by fresh flowers, Oriental rugs and family heirlooms. Traditional antiques furnish the elegant guest bedrooms. Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast in the courtyard or oval dining room. The famous arched piazza features rockers that invite relaxation while gazing beyond the century-old live oaks to the harbor.
