What a true gem located in the heart of the city. The location is within a short walking distance of anything you could possibly need. We had our car valet parked at check in and did not see it again until we checked out. From the management to the maintenance man, everyone on the staff was both extremely friendly and...

This hotel is absolutely great. It is conveniently located within walking distance to everything you want to see in Charleston (you will need a car to visit plantations or book a tour as they are 30 minutes drive from downtown). The hotel room is two stories with extra bed on a first level, which is great for families with kids....

The positives: 1. the location 2. The entire public staff 3. The bed was comfortable The negatives: 1. The rooms are all dark. Dark green walls, 40 & 60 watt bulbs in bronze colored shades leaves the living room & bedroom dark/dark/dark. 2. The leather sleep sofa in the living room is for midgets. It's at least 6-8" too short...

Such a quaint and quiet place to stay! Very convenient to everything downtown! Wonderful staff! We loved the condo set up. It was super helpful to have a full kitchen during our stay! They also have book in the lobby of all the local restaurants with their menus and photos!

What a great location, with a lovely courtyard and kind, attentive service. We love that it has a separate sitting area and kitchen, which makes for a very relaxing vacation right in the middle of downtown Charleston.

We stayed here for 7 days on a timeshare exchange. The location could not be better if you want to explore historic Charleston. Walk to everywhere....beautiful neighborhoods, historic sites, great restaurants. Carriage rides, harbor cruise, walking tours and more within walking distance. Rooms are mini townhouse style with kitchen. Would say it could use a little TLC but still gets...

The Church Street Inn is located half a block off of Market Street in Charleston, which is in the heart of the Historic District and convenient to excellent restaurants, fun activities, and the Battery. The property is strangely vertical: a narrowish reception area gives onto a long stairway up to the second floor (there's also an elevator), and in my...

Other than a nice four poster bed and location this hotel is TIRED and in need of some serious money spending on it. They knew 3 of us were travelling but expected us to make up the extra bed ourselves. Décor is tired and rooms in need of decorating. Fixtures and fittings grubby looking. Not a nice place at all.

this is our first stay and will not be the last. Room is nice and spacious with 1 1/2 baths, kitchen, sitting area, and a separate bedroom.
