We spent one night at the hotel and really enjoyed it. The room was a bit on the small side, but felt very plush - great linens, nice toiletries, very comfortable bed. The location is excellent - you can walk to everything in the old town. Staff is friendly, and the concierge (Kim) was extremely helpful in planning sightseeing around...

On our last day in Charleston we walked in the beautiful, elegant foyer of the hotel. There is a gorgeous bar to the left and an elegant restaurant to the right as you enter. We stopped to talk to the front desk staff to get more information. We were staying in the Belmond Charleston Hotel, but thought we might consider...

We went with my daughter, husband and two year old. And had two adjoining rooms with a crib and refrigerator. Front desk is friendly and accommodating asxwas the restaurant who cooked a pasta fish just for baby and served it in the bar area. All with a smile.

Joyce W - We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time at the Market Pavilion hotel with your daughter husband and two year old. It is great to know that the service from Grill 225 was also accommodating for the baby. We thank you for posting your comments and look forward to your return visit with us.

I was here for a mini-moon and the stay was wonderful. The service from the second you pull up to the hotel until you leave in a cab is thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend for a couple traveling who want to relax and be in the heart of a vibrant city.

A little old fashioned with gold tinsel galore but very spacious and comfortable. The service was particularly good and they accommodated our 2.3 years granddaughter in style. She ate in the hotel but we did not. She appreciated the food with gusto

I have stayed in many of the hotels in Charleston for business and pleasure, but this was my first trip to Market Pavilion Hotel. I no longer need to search around looking for the best place to stay on the Peninsula. This is it. It has a centralized location making it perfect for walking around the city, which I like...

I have stayed at many hotels and the level of service of the concierge at this hotel was in a class that is rivaled by only a few others, the Peninsula in Beverly Hills, the Ritz Carlton in Cancun and the Peninsula in Hong Kong. Kim Kent in particular was amazing, not simply handling our reservations for meals and tours...

The hotel is very centrally located, which is nice. It is less than a block away from the Market, and about a three block walk from the stores. The charm is very nice and the rooms have high ceilings. The breakfast options are small, but what they do have is very good. The rooftop bar is nice, and the burgers...

Our first time to Charleston and loved Market Pavilion. The hotel, location, staff and rooftop bar were perfect for a family trip. The pool area and health club were very nice. Can't wait to come back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Market Pavilion. The room was extremely clean and there were wonderful amenities. The bed and linens were fabulous. The breakfast on each floor in the morning was so enjoyable -- the home-based muffins delicious. I especially want to mention the concierge, Kimberly. She was so helpful and pleasant and "went the extra mile."
