We stayed in two suites at Lavender and Lace while doing tours of the beautiful city. Our friends had never seen Charleston. The B&B owner sat with us and gave us many suggestions on where to eat and things to do, and was generally very helpful in her care for us during our 3-day stay. Our breakfasts were marvelous and...

As they say "location , location, location" In the heart of the old city. Walk to the battery, rainbow row, and the market. Judy was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with recommending restaurants and tours for first time visitors. Comfortable well appointed room and off street parking.

If you plan to visit Charleston, this is the place to leave your suitcase. This home is located in the historic district of Charleston and is within walking distance to most of the historical sites in that city. Because of it's location, there is easy access to cross the river and visit other areas of the city as well. We...

Stayed in the back garden room and it was perfect. Great food supplied fresh daily, Mrs. Meyers products, luxurious sheets, and supplied bikes, which made traveling throughout the historic district a breeze. Judy is very helpful and is willing to share her knowledge as to the best sights to see! I would definitely recommend this B & B !!

My wife and I stayed at Lavender and Lace for two nights in the Back Garden room. Large room with a kitchenette and breakfast stocked daily with egg dishes by the innkeeper Judy. We enjoyed being able to have breakfast on our own in our room. The location is fantastic - south of Broad in the Historic District and within...

It would be hard to find a better location in the historic district. My wife and I had the Front Garden Suite; lots of space in a 'basement' apartment that was only a couple of steps down from ground level. It was clean. The two dehumidifiers completely eliminated any potential for mustiness. The owner/manager left breakfast things in the refrigerator...

My wife and I had an awesome experience recently at the Lavender & Lace. Judy Brown made sure that the accomodations were very clean and well prepared. Our room was cleaned, (including bed made, bathroom and kitchen spotless) each of the three days we were there. The fridge was stocked with fresh fruit, pastries, and breakfast selections each morning. We...

We enjoyed the Front Garden Suite, which indeed opens into a small garden at the front of the house. The suite itself was commodious and wonderfully comfortable. Copious light streamed into the sitting room in the morning, so that I could sink into the couch and read in the morning while my honey prepared for the day. The inn itself...
