Where to start? The basics: quaint, comfortable, and CLEAN. Breakfast each morning was simple, fresh, and delicious. Donna, the general manager, was fabulous. The running of the B&B is a labor of love for her and it shows in every detail. My husband and I went for a relaxing 4 day getaway and didn't have to do a thing. We...

Fantastic spot. Super comfortable, convenient, clean and walking distance to EVERYTHING in this great city for walking! College of Charleston, King St., Meeting Street, Market Street, the Battery... no problem. Honestly, we were thrilled with the accommodation and the location. We parked our car Friday afternoon and did not need it again until we left on Sunday. Just the way...

My wife booked this place just a couple of days before we stayed there. We made a last minute plan to go to Charleston for 3 days and wanted to find a dog-friendly place to stay. My wife spoke to Donna, the Resident Manager at this B&B and she was very happy to accommodate us. Donna did tell my wife...

The B&B is in the French Quarter and just beautiful. We stayed in the State room which was a former carriage house with brick walls and a wood floor that was stunning. It opens on to a small private courtyard where the main entrance is. It is centrally located in walking distance to everything. Donna was gracious and very helpful...

The location is fantastic in that its smack in the middle of historic district; walkable to king street, great restaurants, charleston waterfront park. However, i have been to many B&B and they provide exceptional breakfast; this breakfast consisted of a bowel of fruits, OJ, cheap coffee, and stahl pasteries. There was no evening appetizers or wine. On a better note,...

My wife and I planned to visit this Charleston B&B for 3 nights beginning 2/13/14. Unfortunately, blizzard conditions in the NYC area as well as much of the east coast led to the cancelling of my flight from JFK as well as several hundred others that day. The anticipated weather was so bad that JetBlue informed me of the cancellation...

We had a great stay at 27 State Street. The manager, Donna, was very helpful in directing us to the sites of Charleston. We stayed on the first floor in the front room and the sounds from the street could be noisy during the day. However, we had no problem sleeping as most activity died down around 10PM. The bed...

We stayed here over Easter weekend. What a beautiful, charming and comfortable site this is. I hadn't stayed at a B&B for a while and I was afraid we would feel like we were staying in someone's house. We were in the master suite and it was totally private--we just talked to the manager on the phone a couple of...
