Everyone at the hotel was courteous, helpful and caring. The food was great and prepared just the way I asked for it. The hotel is located near everything you could want or need. we were very impressed with the staff.

My husband and I visited Charleston SC over Thanksgiving on our way to visit with relatives. We stated at the Embassy Suites because of the location. We were very pleased with our choice. We arrived late and we didn't care for our room due to its location. The following day we mentioned this to the staff and they went out... More

We stayed for two nights on our "snowbird" flight from ME to FL after stopping for a few days with family in VA for Thanksgiving. The hotel is in a refurbished historic structure and has a great deal of ambiance and character that one would expect of such a great space...extra high ceilings, exposed brick walls, ornate staircases, grand chandeliers,... My husband and I loved this hotel! The rooms are a little outdated, but that is expected for a hotel this old. The breakfast was good and the fountain area was beautiful! It is in a great location and you can walk to The Market and to all sorts of restaurants! They also just built a cat cafe called Pounce... More

You already know this is a historic old building and it's location on Marion Square is perfect. The Saturday market (through November) is charming to walk through. There is no onsite free parking so factor $34 for the weekend at the nearby garage (typical for many downtown hotels). All of the best cocktail bars and restaurants are within a 5... More

Stayed at Embassy for Thanksgiving with entire family. First let me say the staff is awesome. Courteous, helpful, and fun. However, the hotel is soooo outdated. Needs new carpet, beds, furniture, etc. I will not stay here again until it is renovated. It is honestly the worst Embassy I've ever stayed at. This quality staff deserves a better place to... More

Arrived on Saturday and immediately fell in love with the property. The check in was easy and seamless as a Hilton Honors member. Brought our bags up and right away went to the park adjacent to the hotel in order to enjoy the open market for some freshly made lemonade and lunch. Browsed the various stands that people had set... The staff at this hotel could not have had more Southern Charm - ever so sweet. It amazed me how everyone always had a smile on their faces. The location was perfect, within walking distance of buses, restaurants & attractions. The breakfast was wonderful as was happy hour. The building and rooms however - were very tired. Dark, unassuming, thrifty... More

Our experience here was all fast and easy thanks to honors and online checkin. Valet service was quick and easy as well. Our suite was clean and nice. The rooms are not very sound proof so you can hear lots of noises both outside and in the courtyard, etc in the motel. Lots of screaming and loud noises by other... More

Great location a big beautiful old hotel. Giant atrium. Walk to everything. Free cocktails every night. Furniture in rooms was a bit shabby, but no big deal. Staff was very helpful. Look forward to staying there again.
