This place will make your one week vacation seem like a month. Our room was late getting ready for us to check in. The air conditioning was sub-par. The carpet was dirty. The outdoor trash cans were always full and very seldom emptied. The ice machine was broken. Our microwave was not usable. My personal shampoo was thrown away. This...

Great new manager Angela. She was phenomenal. I business travel 36 weeks out of the year and even though this hotel needs some small attention to details she was on it like it was a Hilton. Grew staff Jessica and Asaia. Mari my housekeeper always smiling and room clean. Negatives are it needs some updating. No micro fridge in my...

I dont even know where to begin. I have never EVER had such a horrible experience. First of all when we arrived after driving 16 hours, there were no rooms clean yet, and it was check in time. We waited 30 min in the heat. Once we got our room, we discovered the keys didnt work, and didnt the whole...

This is a decently priced hotel between Kiawah Island and Charleston that offers a beautiful view of a tidal marsh. The pool was very clean and the perfect temp. Breakfast was good...we esp. enjoyed the sausage gravy, activia yogurt, and real half and half for our coffee. More fresh fruit would have been nice. The staff was friendly. Debbie, the...

I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative feedback on this place. It was really pleasant stay. The pier outside over the creek has beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast wasnt bad at all. We will definitely stay here again!

We booked two rooms for two nights through Expedia. When we got our credit card bill, we were charged by both the hotel and Expedia. Expedia was very responsive but was unable to resolve the issue. The hotel manager wouldn't return our calls. The desk clerk kept saying the manager was out of town. After about 4 hours on the...

I would never recommend this place! We checked in at 7pm after a long tiresome day of travel to an poorly made bed (looked like someone laid on it already), run down, dirty room, paint peeling and a broken air conditioner! NO AIRCONDITIONING, IN THE SOUTH!!! And even tho they had other rooms available the management would not give us...

For an inexpensive, short stay hotel in the Charleston area, this is the place. You can pay a lot more for prettier rooms. Room comes with a free breakfast, including sausage gravy and biscuits. Front desk was pleasant to work with, a little miscommunication with the cleaning staff as to what rooms where ready, but easily remedied. Overall for what...

This is a great place to stay if you are in the area south of Charleston. I stay there where exploring that area. This is an older still of motel. No inner hallway. Doors open to the parking lot. I feel very safe there. No frills. Just well run and is seems lots of people stay there. The place is...
