My wife and I stayed 3 nights here during a conference. We enjoyed the stay. We knew ahead of time: no TV. Everyone has a mobile phone these days, so we didn't mind no having a land line to call out. Since we were there for a conference, we appreciated not having the distractions of TV, as we came for...

Stayed at the Heritage 1 night on the way back home from Florida. First of all not a lot of entertainment at this hotel, no pool and no television. Do not expect to come here and have those amenities and you won't be disappointed, they did say they had wifi but I did not try to use it. Inside of...

The property is very picturesque, but the hotel rooms were below par. We were at a conference and it is a spiritual atmosphere. The room was supposed to be for handicapped available. The only thing that was accommodating about that was the handbag railing in the bathroom. The step in tub was 8-10 inches above the floor. No TV, microwave,...

Place was beautiful, pictures will be gorgeous but the behind-the-scenes was absolute mayhem. staff proved very unhelpful and inadequate. Main Street is in indoors but I would still use caution in getting married there in the summer despite the AC, bc it gets warm inside. Coordinator, Diana, was an absolute nightmare as an actual coordinator. Nice as can be, but...

I stayed at the Heritage Grand Hotel while in the area visiting relatives and really enjoyed the hotel immensely. The property is quite nice with an adjoining "old fashioned" Main Street with shops and a restaurant. It was a great place to just unwind and relax in an immaculate and quiet environment. A very restful stay in a comfortable, secure...

I went here for a conference and our group stayed here. The only nice thing I have to say is that at least it was convenient to be in the same facility as the conference. The rooms were bare bones: no tv, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker. Not even a phone to be able to call the front desk. One...

My family and I could not have been more pleased with our recent stay at the Heritage Grand Hotel in Fort Mill, SC just outside Charlotte, NC. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and from the moment we walked into the lobby and the registration desk we were made to feel welcome by the front desk and lobby staff....

Heritage is not the thriving place it was when Jim & Tammy Bakker built it with donor money, but the facilities are adequate for retreats and conferences, and our room was clean and adequate. I did sense some attitude from some (not all) at the front desk (similar to another reviewer's remarks). The food was unremarkable (i.e., adequate). One goofy...

We were very excited to be visiting the Heritage and even more to actually stay there. After driving 5hrs after work on a Friday evening in rain storms we were greeted by an unfriendly front desk worker. We gave the gentleman our name and he asked for my photo ID, I handed him my credit card and ID he then...

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at the Heritage Grand Hotel. It's a very family oriented hotel and resort with a Christian theme. The connecting Main Street USA shops reminded me of Disney World in their design with the cute old-world "Candyland" type storefronts, brick paver air conditioned main street shopping area and lighted trees. It's very cute and...

“Rooms with an atrium view are a little more noisy if you plan to stay during a weekend when church services and other events are held in the expansive hotel lobby. If you want quiet, ask for a room overlooking the courtyard on the back side of the hotel.”

“If you prefer a quiet room, request one without an atrium view. Church services and special events are held in the atrium. A courtyard or garden view provides a bit more solitude and the rooms overlooking Main Street offer a view of the cute indoor shopping village.”

“Rooms overlooking the atrium are more conducive to those wanting to participate in church services and worship events that are held in the lobby. Rooms overlooking Main Street have a nice view of the indoor shopping area. For more quiet rooms, request a non-atrium room and/or one without a view of Main Street.”

“All rooms have two doors. The room I stayed in faced out onto the courtyard on one side and my other door faced out into the hallway. Some rooms face out into the atrium, which is bad for one reason. On Sundays the Morningstar church gathers in the hotel lobby, and people sing. It is very hard to get sleep during this time.”
