stay in the heart of the Carolina foothills…
welcome to the Hampton Inn Gaffney.
Our city began as "Gaffney's Cross Roads" in 1804 when Irish immigrant Michael Gaffney established a tavern and lodging house in the heart of the Carolina foothills. Our area was perfect for growth because of the two major roads that met here, one from Charlotte into Georgia and the other from the mountains of North Carolina into Charleston. Today, Gaffney still offers a welcome place to rest when you're on the road, the Hampton Inn Gaffney hotel.
Business travelers and vacationers alike will be delighted by the modern conveniences and stellar service our hotel in Gaffney offers. If you've ever wanted to experience true Southern hospitality, you're sure to find it here.
The Hampton Inn Gaffney hotel is conveniently located off I-85 next to Hamrick's Department Store and Prime Outlets Gaffney.
The shower has black mold. The carpets are filty and the bottom of your socks will be brown with dirt after one trip around the room. The air in the room was stale and had a meldew smell. No way to introduce fresh outside air into the room. Tile floors were sticky and dirty. The bathroom was cold and has not heat.
Nice clean hotel conveniently located right off the interstate if your looking to shop outlets are 2 minutes away. Will definitely stay again. Only thing I wish there was at least a grab and go breakfast available but Cracker Barrel is a few steps away and Burger King across the street
Gardner Webb Women Basetballand Football Championship Game!!! Everything about the trip and Hampton Inn was EXCELLENT. I highly RECOMMEND HAMPTON INN to you if you and or family is traveling to GAFFNEY, AND BOILING SPRINGS area and need to stop and rest!
Do Not stay here! Bed bugs. Bathroom smelled like a urinal. Ice machine out of service. No staff at front desk. The only positive is that it was close to the softball fields but will never stay here again!
Room was fine. Lighting was not great. It had some charging places. We did not use the fitness center or pool. Breakfast was a good Hampton breakfast. Parking was fine. There is a convenience store across the street.
Front desk employee (Alex?) very friendly and accommodating, had to change my first room because I could tell someone had snuck a dog in and the A/C had been purposely turned off by housekeeping which added to the odor. !!! 2nd Room adequate, hotel is aging and it needs updating but still decent. Carpets should be changed asap both in the corridors and in the rooms for it to be the standard Hilton is accustomed to providing. Would stay here again if in the area.
I was very pleased with everything about this hotel and it's staff. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Can't wait till I'm out that way to say there again. They room was great bed was soft and TV worked fine.
When we came in through the side door, we first noticed the dirty hallway carpet. Figured it was just the first floor, but hall carpets were dirty on the 4th floor, too. However, our room was very clean and lived up to Hampton Inn standards. There were lots of work trucks in the parking lot, so maybe this is a hotel for hard workers with dirty shoes. Quiet rooms. Standard breakfast. Nice stay.
I was very pleased with this hotel. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Everything was well stocked and there were several items to choose from each morning. It is within walking distance of a couple of good restaurants for lunch or supper.
We were stuck in traffic near the hotel for hours and needed to get off the road for the night before resuming our travel the next morning. Thankfully, we were able to get a room. We we very pleased with the quality of everything and all the employees. Don’t hesitate to stay at this hotel.
