This stay was brief 2night 3 days. It is very close and in quite possibly the busiest part of a small town. The hotel looks decent doesn’t look run down or anything. When we walked in our non smoking room it had a slight Oder of cigarettes. Other than that beds are very comfortable, cleaning staff does a good job.

Was returning home from a road trip and wanted to stay at a hotel close to the Peachoid. I have loved my stay at different Baymonts across the country so gave this one a shot without a reservation. Check in was slow at best and a long line started to accumulate. When I entered my room I noticed there was no soap or any toiletries. I don't believe I have ever stayed at a hotel that did not give its guests soap. Luckily there is a grocery store within a 2 minute walk and bought a bar of soap for the night.

The room was moderately quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and stores nearby, so a good location, but that did add some to the noise level in the hotel. Luckily the noised died down as night progressed. I did manage to get a good night's sleep and checked out before breakfast to get on my way. I would probably look to stay at another hotel if I was in the area again.

Thank you for your review! I hope you enjoyed the views of the newly painted Peachoid when you visited us. I am so sorry to hear that your check-in process with our newly trained front desk clerk at the time was a bit slow. I know this incident, along with not having soap in your room is totally unacceptable and on behalf of my staff I would like to apologize! Since your checkout, these issues have been addressed accordingly with my team and I hope you will give us a second chance when visiting Gaffney. Breakfast needs more variety. Exhaust fan broken in bathroom. Mold on shower curtain. Microwave had wet cloudy stuff on glass plate. We brought a non slip floor mat for tub with us, because last time we stayed here my son slipped and fell in tub. His knees were bruised. His dad couldn't go in to check on him, until my son unlocked the door from inside because the loutside lock was broken. And when it came to checking out, the guy at front desk was on phone throwing cuss words left and right. Doubt we'll stay here again.

We stayed with Baymont on Thursday thru Monday. We always stay at this hotel (have been staying here for many years) but this visit we had a problem with our hotel charges. We paid $279.12 on Thursday when we checked in. We went on our bank account when we got back home and it showed that along with the $279.12 there was a $50 charge taken out as well. I called the hotel to speak to either one of the managers about it and was told that they were not there. I was asking the person his name was CJ about the charge and he hung up on me so I called back and asked him if he could explain the $50 charge and he said it was the deposit fee and pulled up my account and said that the $50 fee was taken out because we smoked Marijuana in our room while we were there. My parents are elderly and none of us smoke. For goodness sake my mama is on oxygen and we have to bring her oxygen machine with us everywhere we go so there is no way that we smoke!! We have no smoking signs everywhere at our home. This has made me and my parents very upset. I hope you can resolve this issue for us as soon as possible and also have a talk with CJ about how rude and unprofessional he was on the phone with me today!! I asked him when Mr. Blanton would be in the office and he said he usually comes in on Monday mornings to which I informed him today is Tuesday so who works on Wednesdays and he said I think Tynisha will be here but he kept telling me "I don't know and I can't help you". I called back this morning and got someone and left a message and I was never given a phone call back. I had to call back again and finally was able to speak to the owner and he was very rude. He kept accusing us on smoking weed in the room. He said that an hour after we check out on Monday that he went into the room and there was ashes and weed everywhere. That is not how we left that room. We never ask for maid service the whole time we was there we took our own trash out daily and even brought our own toliet paper and hygiene products with us. I told him that only me and my 70 year old parents was the only 3 in that room the whole time. He then said well you should have made sure you closed the door when you left. To which we did every time we left that room we closed the door. He told me he was going to put us on a do not rent anymore list. I can't believe how this hotel has went to being so horrible!! This has upset me so much. If that $50 fee is not put back in our bank account we will be contacting a lawyer!! I also called the cooperate office and they said there was nothing that could do about it either. I hope you know that you have just lost a loyal customer.

Just stayed here over the Holidays and the Manager there Gary i believe is his name was awesome at checking me in. He was very Friendly along with his whole staff. I loved that they are still serving breakfast which is why we chose to stay there. We asked for our room to be cleaned and they had no problem cleaning the room and servicing us.

Rooms were clean and sanitized. Staff was friendly and they were taking COVID precautions. Breakfast options were excellent. It is in a great location, off of a main road but far enough off the road to where you feel safe and comfortable. Easy access to the highway but still quiet. Plenty of grocery stores and fast food nearby. Not to mention, a very decent price.

Family trip. 4 nights/2 rooms. NO housekeeping done the entire stay. Told had to bring dirty towels/washcloths to front desk to get clean ones. Sheets were not changed despite specific request to do so after baby had messed up sheets. When called to see if someone could ask other guests to quieten down so we could sleep was told there was nothing they could do and hung up on. When we saw a housekeeper and handed her the 2 bags of trash, that were in the room, plus the 2 we had to put in there were just handed bags to put back in the cans ourselves. Also was denied an extra blanket. Staff was rude and dismissive.

I’ve used this location for years on several occasions and I’m being to see the quality of the rooms decline. The bathroom door was broken abs held together by a screw. The floor carpets need to be removed and BURNED

Do not stay here. The front desk staff was nice but it did not make up for the fact it is completely run down. Bugs in the rooms. Opened the door this morning to find a bike with a knife on the seat. The rooms smell of cigarettes even thought they say non smoking. I should have taken heed to the sign at the counter that charged locals and people paying cash for a deposit.

Everything was excellent, Any problem I had the staff accommodate me and assist in fixing the problem. the staff was helpful, respectful and courteous. I would recommend Baymont Gaffney to any family and friends who need somewhere to stay during their travel in Gaffney.
