Resort suites are comfortable with updated & nice decor & fully furnished. It’s a place that you don’t mind being stuck in on a rainy day. The grounds are well kept with beautiful landscaping & plenty of seating areas for hanging outside. Barbecue grills & pools. A lot of trees so won’t get an ocean view unless in some ocean front units. The customer service is great! Everyone was professional, friendly & accommodating. Special shout out to Audrey for her patience & great suggestions! Really enjoyed my stay!

Excellent facility & location. Extremely well maintained, they were doing yard. maintenance every day we were there. Easy access to the beach. One restaurant on site, which we did not use. Room was very comfortable. Two bedrooms. Large dining table. Kitchen was well stocked and quite spacious. Ice cream socials were a real treat. Staff was great and very helpful.

We just returned from a one week stay at the Barony Beach Club. Check in was easy with Lauren and we were lucky to be upgraded to an ocean view villa. The villa was recently renovated, clean and very comfortable. We used the heated pool as well as the outdoor hot tub and the main pool with fountain. There is another pool in the back with a slide that my kids enjoyed. Plenty of activities to participate in that made it fun for my kids. Should out to Joey and Kane in the kids activities center. Also, to Hazel who helped us hail down a shuttle from the back pool and to Kip the driver who we remember from a few years ago. All the staff we encountered were friendly and provided great service. We rented bikes for the entire week which was worth it. Overall, had a fantastic time at Barony!…

Our family has stayed at this beautiful property several times. Having grown up spending Summers in the panhandle of Florida, I fell in love with the lush greenery and large shade trees on the grounds of this property. In Florida, your choices are to be out in the squelching sun, or indoors. Here at the Barony, you get plenty of sunny beach days, but can also choose to relax and unwind in a hammock, or in one of the three hot tubs, or in a lounge chair; all found underneath the beautiful shade trees. The rooms are immaculately clean every visit, and my cleanliness standards are "Monica Gellar" high. During our most recent stay last week, our family celebrated a very special birthday and Lela at the front desk sent a very special delivery to our room. Huge appreciative shout out to Lela! The kindness she showed our family will be treasured forever. Weather has been best during Summer months. March and October visits can be cold or warm. You never know what temps you will get until a week or so beforehand. The only reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5 is that we still have a billing issue we need rectified from last week's trip. We hope it will be resolved soon. …

I have stayed at this resort for 2 years now and had the same experiences. Hilton Head Island is a lovely place and I love all of the walking/biking paths, There are several nice restaurants, my favorite is Nectar. The Honey Horn Museum is wonderful and they sponsor a lot of local events. This particular resort is not a relaxing place, especially if you are a light sleeper or not a morning person. The main problem is noise. The sound of leaf blowers generally begins around 7:30 AM and continues throughout the day, often until mid-afternoon. I have seen people with the backpacks on blowing next to nothing. They are probably paid by the hour. I have heard 2 people blowing the same area and it is twice as loud. When it's not leaf blowing, it's hedge trimming, building renovation or cleaning people banging around in the halls. I attended a Turtle Talk presentation where the speaker's voice was drowned out by a nearby hedge trimmer. Thankfully a Marriott staff member contacted someone and the noise stopped. This resort needs a new strategy on grounds maintenance. Somehow they need to contain the amount of time that this noise pollution goes on, and they definitely need to wait until 9 am to start any of it. If I had my way, I would ban leaf blowers all-together! …

Our first visit to HHI and we stayed at Barony. We love the Marriott Vacation Club properties when traveling as a family. We rented a 2 bedroom villa on the garden side as ocean wasn’t available when we booked. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our unit was beautifully furnished with everything you could need. Lots of activities and amenities- lots of pools, hot tub, games. Unfortunately we had some chilly and rainy weather so we didn’t get to spend time at the pools and beach. The beach is beautiful and we will be returning in the summer!

We stayed at this villa for 5 days in dec 2022 At the villa::After using your gym facility, we approached Namaste spa for an appointment.. the lady at the desk was on her phone (personal call with her mom) and did not care to say to “hold on” or I will be right back. After 5 minutes of wait, she hang up the phone. My daughter asked An appointment at the spa. After looking at us and knew that we are checking out on Monday (Dec 26th). The lady at the spa told us that there is no opening in the spa till Tuesday with out checking in. We felt like that we were denied an appointment due to our color and look.. this was very prominent just by the lady look and her response to us.. This incident happened on Saturday Dec 24th around noon .

This is a beautiful Marriott property. The landscape is lush and green with beautiful Live Oak trees. It is very quiet and private. I would give 5 stars if there was easy beach access. We didn't see or hear the ocean. It is a long trek to the ocean. Our view consisted of looking at the back of The Westin Resort....not a view at all. Everyone we encountered was friendly and very helpful. But I will not return to this location mainly because of the lack of easy beach access. If beach access is not important to you then this Marriott will suit you fine,

Very disappointed we were once again put into a handicapped room facing hot tub. My husband is 6’3” and that’s a long way down to the low sink. The rooms are in need of some updating, fresh paint, new towels and grout! (I’ve included photos) We love HH in the fall and winter but never seem to get ocean front. Barony is not our home resort. However, We our presidential level which seems to mean nothing here. I’m starting to think we need to reevaluate where we stay on Hilton Head. Btw, restaurant called the Farm in Bluffton was fantastic! Best oysters are at Hudsons…belly up to the bar. They are great people there!

We stayed in an ocean view room overlooking the pool. The room looks like recently renovated. It’s very nice and clean. They have an indoor pool and an outdoor heated pool. Very nice facility. We can see sun rise from our room. The walk to the beach is very convenient, we will be back again!
