The scenic vistas & views, the staff (family), the ambience, the accommodations, at Red Horse & restaurants in nearby Landrum surpassed our highest expectations. We were welcomed with kind cheerfulness and immediately granted privacy and given quiet solitude is the very well appointed "Stables" at Red Horse Inn. It's beautiful. can't wait to go back.

I love rolling country side and mountain views. If you do, too, you'll love the Red Horse Inn. Even in February, the Inn and its surrounding property is gorgeous. I can only imagine how beautiful it is the rest of year. There are all kinds of outdoor spaces on the property to sit and enjoy the lovely views, but it...

We reserved 2 beautiful rooms which were spacious, beautiful, and very well equipped for our pleasure and convenience. The location is centrally located among waterfalls, state parks, covered bridges, and the charming town of Landrum. The "mascot" is a beautiful horse which enhances the beautiful rolling scenery surrounded by white fences and mountains in the background. We were blown away...

My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary in The Gable Bedroom. The private balcony had incredible views over the side of the property with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance – just stunning! In the mornings after brewing coffee in our room, I would look out over the balcony to see the horse, Secret, in the paddock and...

I vowed to myself to start writing reviews because I rely on them to help me make traveling decisions so here goes. My husband and I went to The Red Horse Inn to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and stayed in the beautiful Grainary Cottage. The cottage is exactly what you would expect from the pictures, beautiful, airy, and...

My wife surprised me for our 22nd wedding anniversary by making reservations here. I am normally not very fond of B&Bs but I can honestly say that I was really impressed with this place. It is located in the beautiful foothills of South Carolina. The scenery is picturesque with views of the pasture and Smoky Mountains in the distance. We...

On the day of our arrival, there was a little smoke in the area because of wildfires north. The Innkeeper was showing other folks to their rooms who arrived just ahead of us so the Innkeeper's son showed us to our room. We were given an upgrade to a 2nd floor room (Dovecote) with a small private balcony with fantastic...

We came here in September to have a quick getaway and celebrate our anniversary. We wanted some quiet time to spend together away from our hectic daily lives. Christian was so hospitable and helped us plan the whole thing. He even made sure to include a surprise letter and rose petals on our bed (see photo below). We had an...

My husband and I spent two nights at The Red Horse Inn in mid October. This was our first visit. Our experience exceeded our expectations. Mary, Roger, and Christian were meant for this lovely place, their hosting abilities are fantastic. It was obvious to us that their focus is on making their visitors feel like they are so special.
