My wife and I reserved a room at this location for $146.72, including taxesÂ
and fees, thinking that an association with Wyndham would have prompted a feeling of pride and responsibility in the ownership. We checked in atÂ
approximately 5 pm and went right to the room. The room was extremely hotÂ
(temperatures had been in the 90s for days) and it had a musty, dirty smell,Â
the A/C had not been running.  We turned on the A/C thinking that it wouldÂ
help to get rid of the odor problems and left to get some groceries. WeÂ
returned about 45 minutes later to put items in the refrigerator and there wasno change in room temperature or odor. We left again to get something toÂ
eat and returned around 7, when we finally got a good look at the room, notÂ
good! The A/C was still not working, all flat surfaces and rug were dirty, theÂ
bedspread on one of the queen beds was stained (we did not turn downÂ
either one) and the bathroom door was damaged. We felt dirty just standing there. Went to the desk to checkout and asked for a refund. The gentlemanÂ
at the desk said that "he was not the manager" and could not provide aÂ
refund. We do not feel that this two hour "stay" in a less than acceptable Â
accommodation was worth the charge of $146.72 and are expecting a fullÂ
refund. You have our contact information, and we are waiting for the localÂ
owner or Wyndham to contact us and provide restitution.
