The kitchen staff knocked it out of the park! Waitstaff was charming and the visit was a delight! Our server Jason was helpful, guiding us through the menu so our meal was perfect. Onion soup was flavorful and Appetizers, such as the red snapper were outstanding! Highly recommended!

My family and I decided on Brunch at the Inn on a rainy day. We were extremely surprised with the level of food and service we received. Starting out with the Mimosa sampler and the fresh Biscuits was a great choice. I had soup and eggs Benedict which came out perfectly. Our server was Stephanie? Sarah? She took great care...

My husband and I went to Charleston for the weekend in mid-November. Since it was a spur-of-the-moment trip, some of our usual favorites were not available. My husband checked on several bed-and-breakfasts before deciding on the Old Village Post House Inn. We arrived fairly late. It was 8:00 by the time we checked in (a very simple process since they...

My wife and I flew in to Charleston and attended a wedding in Mount Pleasant and it was suggested that we stay at the Old Village Post House Inn. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was great. We arrived later than expected on a Friday night and checked Trip Advisor to see ratings for local restaurants. We decided...

Charming historic building in a nice neighborhood in Mount Pleasant with easy access to the sights in Charleston. We had a cozy suite on the top floor that was clean and nicely decorated with period furniture and fully stocked with amenities. However, no common lounge space or exercise facilities, though there is a gym across the street available with a...

Really talented chef in this low key upscale restaurant. Away from the tourist insanity of Charleston but with all the sophisticated culinary skills you expect in that foodie paradise. Crab cakes incredible. Gnocchi wonderful. Dessert a caloric epiphany. Service first class. Highly recommended.

This was a small mansion that was converted to a hotel/Inn. in a very fine neighborhood in Mt Pleasant. Old Village Inn is not far from Charleston, in a charming neighborhood. The Inn has a wonderful first class restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and take guests back in time. In total I have stayed at the Inn on 3 different...

With Charleston, SC being a regular draw although a 10 hour drive, upon the recommendation of friends we elected to try The Old Village Post House Inn for our first nights dinner. With reservation in hand (smart phone) we found our way to the restaurant driving through the quaint old streets of Mt. Pleasant. An old post office and situated...

Mount Pleasant is a lovely area, not far from Charleston, with fine old houses, a nice row of village shops, and a wonderful old style drugstore with soda fountain/snack bar that serves the best milkshakes I've ever had -- an authentic period piece. The Old Village Post House Inn is a reasonably comfortable (though see bed below) B and B...
