Nice resort with good customer care! Good location on the beach. Parking provided though it has some minor inconvenience as it is old fashioned, excellent room ambience, warm swimming pool. Modest breakfast

We arrived New Years Eve and Departed January 3rd. Check in was a breeze! Free cookies next to the DVD rentals when you walk in ☺ Parking is tricky. The ramps are very NARROW and you will scrape your car if you are not careful. We stayed in room 352 which was a Deluxe King Suite (G) glad I made...

Strand is a very typical Myrtle Beach hotel located on Ocean Boulevard right in the middle of zillions of hotels overlooking the ocean with direct access to the beach. An older 19 storey building with small rooms, except for the suites perhaps. Balcony was tiny blocking the 120 deg view. Breakfast room is small as well. The plus points are...

The front desk people are so friendly and helpful. The timeshare person was reasonable about accepting that we are not interested in purchasing a timeshare. Every staff person we met said Hello and wished us a good day. I did think a $16.80 per day resort fee was way out of line and is the only reason I did not...

We give this resort a 4 because of its consistency, price point and improvements that are under way. This is a winter review and we must assume that the summers are quite different. This time of year the bar closes at 7 and the restaurant is not open. Over the years they have done a nice job on lobby, guest...

From the time we entered the lobby, enjoyed breakfast & wondered down to the beach, the Strand staff greeted us with a warm smile. They were very hospitable, informative and really nice. A few staff members went out of our way to address or questions & concerns!
