Totally impressed by our stay here with our kids (5 and 10). We had a two bedroom unit (#4) which was extremely tidy, well equipped and comfortable for a family of four. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Very easy parking for boats/trailers etc. really nice farm / orchard outlook and quiet. Plus only half hour from Picton and four...

Arrived after 6pm in mid-Nov'15 without booking. Was welcomed in and hosts went out of the way to accommodate me in backpacker's area even though not fully open due to their refurbishing. Got room ready very quickly. All much appreciated as great stop for next day driving into Punga Cove in the Sounds.

We stayed at this motel 1 night in transit to the south of the South Island . Somehow our booking got messed up and we had actually only booked a double room instead of one for us and our 2 children . Despite our late arrival time from the Picton ferry ( 11pm) the manageress called and woke her husband...

A group of five of us stayed at this motel recently and we were blown away with how accommodating and kind our hosts were! We saw them do so many acts of kindness and were so welcoming! They genuinely care about their guests experiences and if you need a place to rest for a night or just a nice quiet...

I arrived late and reception was manned by young son of the family, a warm welcome and courteous (parent should be proud of his first time at reception). A lovely room, with shared facilities, very clean and well maintained. Large sitting room with well equipped kitchen and dining room beside it. The drive from Picton is very picturesque with narrow...

Adam & Melissa are wonderful people. When I arrived home I discovered I had left my phone at the motel. Adam and Melissa went out of their way to locate it, courier it to me and all at no cost, reuniting me with my lifeline. The world needs more people like them.

We stayed two nights. Melissa and Adam couldn't do enough for us. If you are wanting a quiet sleep in beautiful surroundings, this is the place to stay in Marlborough. They will help you plan and book your daily excursions. We will be back.

Well, there is a lot to say/write. We have visited this motel for many times during our first stay in NZ (1999-2006) and our second stay October 2013 until now. I think it was for about 15 times, which might explain enough, we suppose. During our first visit we had no complaints at all. During the second visit and so...

Motel Linkwater is an excellent choice in combination with the ferry in Picton. It's a quiet spot with great views of the mountains on Queen Charlotte Drive. The hosts are absolutely lovely. The room is a good size, tidy, spotless and well equipped. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable with a good shower. We required safe parking for our classic...
