Old western town decorated like it should be...well minus the TV and internet. :-) Good speedy check in. Only a few parking spots to unload load your luggage. Not super convenient parking. (parking is a farther down the street, but free) Great location on the southern end of town yet right on Main St. Small casino if that's your thing... More

Thank you for your kind words, and for being our guest. Like you, many like our Main Street location, just steps from most activities and attractions. While our free parking is located in the city parking ramp about a block away, the loading zone is adjacent to the building so that luggage handling is an easy chore. Thanks for noticing... More

Thank you for being our casino guest. I apologize for your wait, sometimes things occur in a small business that require staff to be redirected from their scheduled posts. The day in question we had a fire sprinkler inadvertently go off in a second floor guest room. Much of our staff was tending to that immediate problem. I hope that... More

Super hotel in historic downtown area. Walk to everything. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was large and beautifully decorated in period style. Will definitely stay there again if we get back to Deadwood!

Thank you for your nice review, and for being our guest. I will pass along your compliments to my staff, they work hard each day to try to accommodate our guests. Our rooms come in all shapes and sizes due to the historic nature of our building. That said, they are typically larger than a chain hotel, feature period decorations,... More

Very nice old hotel. Room was excellent with a huge bathroom. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Best Bloody Mary makers in deadwood. Excellent location near very good restaurants and the Old 10 bar.

This was my second stay at Hickok's. And I will definitely be back. Nice, clean rooms. Super friendly staff. Loved our junior suite! Really like the dark curtains which make the room look richly decorated and keep it nicely dark. Liked having real glass drinking glasses and cups and saucers for coffee. No complaints here at all!

Thank you for being our repeat guest, and for your nice review. I too like the junior suites: spacious and plush, a great value. During the restoration we tried to maintain many of the original Victorian features, thus the richly decorated feel. While a little more work, the "real glass" beverage containers add a nice touch for our guests. I... More

Deadwood to me was an enchanting little town. I really enjoyed staying in Deadwood and staying at Hickok's Hotel. Enjoyed our 2 nights in the historic Hickok Hotel. Had a queen room on the second floor which was quiet and clean. The rooms are small but the bathroom has been remodeled and was nicely done. Overall a very positive stay.
