We stayed at the Harney Peak Inn for 3 days/nights, very clean, with retro style. Comfortable room with a great bed, I know it was off season, but it was nice and quite. Very centrally located to all the Black Hills sites, great restaurant (Alpine Inn) right next door. Many winery"s and brew house near by. Cute town, Dan does...

Despite it's modest street appeal, the Harney Inn was perfect as a base for exploring hiking the Black Hills. I was there off-season, so the town was all-but empty of tourists and open food options, but the Inn was welcoming and comfortable. Dan, the proprietor, was super-friendly, even lending me his personal bike for ride on the Michelson trail. I'd...

Great location within walking distance of the sites in Hill City. Rooms had a great feel to them. I loved the little bits of nostalgia placed throughout. Very clean in the living area and the bathroom. Bed was comfortable like home. Has an area for group/family meetings so you don't have to try and cram into a single room. Even...

Our plans changed at the last minute and we were only able to stay one night at the Harney Peak Inn. Dan was extremely helpful in assisting with these changes and in answering all of my questions. He even brought some information to our room on the Buffalo Round-up that we were attending the next morning. The room was quaint,...

Over Labor Day weekend my husband and I stayed in room 3. The room was clean, comfortable and we could hear them call the names for dinner next door at Alpine Inn, so our wait for a table seemed to be no time as we visited with other guests around the outdoor bar. We loved being able to walk the...

We spent 2 days at the Harney Inn. We knew it was a good choice when a double rainbow appeared as we arrived at the end of a long,,cold, rainy day of touring the Mt Rushmore & custer state park area. We were greeted by repeat lodgers who sang the praises of the inn and it's 6 rooms that open...

This was our seventh trip to the Sturgis Bike Rally and was by far the best stay. Dan was very accommodating and assisted us in getting our things to our room.
