I don't even know where to begin in regards to trying to convey to you just how wonderful this place is! We had made reservations for five nights here but ended up staying for ten nights. This was due to my daughter's appendix rupturing while we were vacationing here. (We're from Texas.) The owner, who is in my opinion one...

Spaces were nice and clean and level, staff was nice. Close to bear country and reptile gardens. Easy to find. The drive to Rushmore is a breeze. The showers and the bathrooms are clean, and the pool is refreshing. I would definitely stay here again.

Stopped here for the night before driving to Mount Rushmore. Staff was friendly at check in. A little confusing getting to the camp sights but it was a pretty setting with tall trees and a feeling of being in the forest. No cable available and wifi was a little touchy. Showers and laundry were nice and clean. Great location for...

We spend Memorial day camping...although it rained, it was a great place to stay. We will be back! Bathrooms and laundry are nice and clean. Staff was helpful and the housekeeper was really good. My kids loved the mini golf. My wife loved the peaceful location in the trees. I loved the reasonable prices.

We camped here in May of 2105. It was close to Rapid City if we needed groceries and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. The staff was extra nice and helpful and the restrooms were always clean…. Would stay there again.

This is a really nice place! Very quiet, even though it's right off a major highway. Our cabin had three bedrooms, each with a double bed. There was a nice-sized living room with comfortable sofa and loveseat, a tv, and coffee and end tables. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and glasses. Also, a microwave...

Mystery Mountain has it all...store, clean showers with hot water, shady sites for all types of camping plus cabins for those who do not camp. Clean, sparkling water, heated pool and hot tub, miniature golf, basketball court not to mention a beautiful view of the badlands and professional, friendly staff. Best camping in all of South Dakota !!
