This is the greatest log cabin we've ever stayed. From the wall decorations to the night light, every detail was beautiful. It is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. So close to the Badlands & Wall Drug- it's a "no brainer"! The price was right & the breakfast was a full meal- not just cold cereal. We will...

The accommodations at the Frontier Cabins Motel were excellent: very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The place is very kitsch upon entering, but don't let that fool you. The cabins are sophisticated inside, nice log cabin decor and comfortable beds. Avoid breakfast at all cost. It's a worth a look see in the shop, but travel elsewhere for a bite and...

Others rate this place highly, and for most part I would agree--EXCEPT for 3 things: 1) road noise, especially in cabins next to the frontage road, is quite loud (opt for second row), 2) if you need internet, it is very unreliable (twice we have had problems and gotten NO internet service), 3) breakfast is very average, with the smallest...

What a nice place to stay when in the area. The cabins are absolutely beautiful inside. The buildings and grounds are well up kept. Very reasonably priced and close to lots of activities in the area. Lots of parking and a nice gift shop on site as well. Look forward to staying there in the future. We stayed in cabin...

I stayed here for a night during the memorial weekend and i was pleasantly surprised with their cabins. It was very neatly decorated and we found it very comfortable. It was quite and they have chairs and table for outside of cabin to hangout which i liked. The beds are huge and comfortable. The staffs were helpful. The complimentary breakfast...

We had a vacation planned for sometime and we did a lot of checking and we chose this cute little place not more than 10 minutes entrance from The Badlands loop. When you check in at the General Store/Check in center, friendly people AND lots of fireworks! We also received a 10 bag of ice free, and all the loose...

I received a discount coupon from Frontier Cabins. I subsequently tried to use it but was denied because it was Harley week in South Dakota. I believe word is word and the coupon should have not been denied. Loved the cabins, have stayed frequently, but disliked the discount experience.

I booked this motel as a result of their excellent ratings On Trip Advisor. At first, one we pulled into it, I wondered if this was a kitschy sort of place. Quite frankly, I thought that I may have made a mistake in booking it. However, we found it quite homey, quite cute, and quite enjoyable. The combination office and...

We love the Badlands so we take the loop on every trip west. And now we have found a truly inviting place to stay, near the western end of the Badlands Loop and close to Wall. The cabins are nicely furnished, clean and quiet, and the woman in charge was helpful and friendly. You get to park right next to...

This place was one of the best place we stayed during our trip to the Black Hills. So relaxing and private. Each cabin is very updated and modern as it is only four years in existence. It's a great location while visiting the Badlands as it is literally at the beginning of the loop. After doing the Badlands and having...
