We stayed two nights at this hotel. I think it's my favorite hotel ever. It's new and contemporary with a good vibe. Not a wonderful neighborhood but not terrible either. I loved the minimalist decor - in the rooms and in the common areas. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a little large and overstuffed for my liking. While the room has a crisp, clean feel I think it could have benefited from a luggage rack and also seating for two people with a little table that could accommodate a drink or a game of cribbage.

In our queen room there was a kitchenette with a coffee maker, sink, dishes, refrigerator. The room had a nice lighted closet which also had a safe inside for valuables. A note on the shower: it was large with a glass wall but... no towel bars anywhere close to the shower. There were two hooks on the back of the bathroom door, and that's the only place to hang a towel. Not very convenient when you step out of the shower and want a towel.

In the morning a continental breakfast is available in the lobby. This included a nice Greek yogurt bar with lots of fresh toppings available - nuts, coconut, raisins, cranberries, fresh fruit and berries. A cook was onsite to make a couple breakfast items to order. 1st day was pancakes and scrambled eggs. 2nd day was eggs to order or scrambled eggs with bacon. I enjoyed the cappuccino machine the first day, but on the second day it was out of order. A little less dependable than a barista but a nice treat when it worked. There were tables in the breakfast area - and there were also lots of places to sit throughout the lobby area. This hotel seemed to attract a wide range of ages, and I liked that.

I'm giving this 5 stars because any improvements needed were easily offset the positives.
There was a "relaxation hour" each evening when guests were offered complimentary wine or beer (good craft beers, I might add). At the end of the hour the bar remained open to hotel guests. We stopped drinking after the complimentary drinks. :)

There is a very narrow outdoor pool behind the hotel. A couple of families with children monopolized the pool area the first night we were there, but I was happy to see them having fun so didn't mind that I canceled my swim.
The patio area also has a gas fireplace as well as a gas grill available for use. We were temporarily without a car the first evening but were able to walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Being the 4th of July several restaurants were not open.

Stayed 2 nights in mid April 2024. I've been a loyal Marriott fan for over 40 years. My first stay at a Element. An impressive concept by Westin (Marriott) for mid priced hotels. The lobby is bright, open and very comfortable. A small bar with an unassuming happy hour with bread, cheese board and olive selections. Nice touch!! All employees are well trained, professional and helpful. The breakfast was without question the best I've ever had at a mid priced property. Cooked to order eggs, waffles and pancakes. Large selection of breads, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurts. muffins, etc.. The rooms and bathrooms are quite large with all the room type amenities you'd expect at a higher priced property. The hotel was full both nights but very quiet. The Hamilton Place area is full of restaurants and hotels. Now that you've found your hotel I'd like to highly recommend the Acropolis Grill which is about 3-4 minute drive from The Element. Outstanding food and very reasonable prices. We'll be looking for other Element properties in our future travels.

The room was spacious and well equipped. Loved the layout. Marvelous little design touches made it a great place to stay.

The bed was comfortable and the walk in shower was very nice. I would like to see them separate the shampoo and conditioner, rather than offer them in a combo. I have long hair and I need extra conditioner. And maybe some towel bars? I had a two night stay. In most places, housekeeping won't service your room until after three nights. I don't mind reusing my towels, but I would like to be able to hang them up to dry.

Breakfast is included and it was, by far, one of the nicest I’ve ever had. If you want eggs, they are cooked to order. There is a toast station, fresh fruit, and a yogurt station that has lots of fresh toppings.

Brad was on the front desk both nights we were there and he gave us a great dinner recommendation. The Acropolis is nearby, and my husband said that was one of the best meals he has had in along while.

They also have a nice little bar. If Dennie is working, you’re going to get a fantastic drink. They have a limited bar menu - charcuterie, flatbreads and sandwiches - so you don’t have to go out to get something to eat.

The Element is VERY clean. Smells nice. Friendly front desk staff. Spacious rooms and comfy bed. Now, saying all that, just a few “need to know” for future travelers…no towel hooks near shower or towel bar to hang your towels on when stepping out of shower. I know that’s not a big deal but it wouldn’t take any additional space for them to put one. You can hang the towel on the door but will need to walk across room and drip on floor. Next suggestion..they do say hot breakfast but know it is one maybe two menu items and no meat. I would say it is a step up from continental breakfast but nothing special. Don’t expect pancakes or waffles because there will be none. Also, if you or your children like chocolate milk, you won’t find it here. We wanted to stay here to try a different hotel in Chattanooga since we visit family twice a year. However, we will stay elsewhere in the future.

This is our new preferred hotel when we visit Chattanooga. It is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping and spotlessly clean with spacious rooms. The kitchenette is very useful, containing a microwave, fridge, cooktop, dishwasher, sink, and Keurig. The work desk was a good size, as was the closet. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows were squishy, but not flat - very comfortable. The spacious walk in shower contained body wash and 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner. There were plenty of towels and washcloths for our family. We also enjoyed the fire pit and pool area outside, along with the bar area and 24/7 coffee bar and water station in the lobby. The breakfast was wonderful, including fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, juices, a yogurt bar, and made to order eggs and pancakes. The staff was extremely friendly. The only very slight issue we had was that our room apparently did not contain a streaming TV, or they were some settings that had gotten mixed up on the TV. We were not able to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi in order to log into our Amazon prime account. However, we were able to use our iPhone to HDMI cable to connect to the TV and stream from our phone. This is an excellent hotel. We highly recommend, and we will definitely be staying here again.

The front desk team was amazing! They aided me in getting a room that would work for me when moving from a hotel that didn't work out. My entire time in the room with the small cooking area, I didn't hear a sound. Not from anyone walking above, not people talking, and this was over a holiday weekend. Spacious bathroom, wonderful dishes and utensils that were sturdy and not flimsy or cheap. It was a soothing, relaxing stay that I'd recommend to anyone. I only wish there were a lot more Element hotels for me to stay at during future travels! If I could make improvements, I'd add more lights in the room as during rainy or cloudy days there wasn't enough light in the room for me, and at night time, the room felt dark even with all of the lights on, but I understand that's part of the premise of attempting to have a more 'eco-friendly' hotel. Also, breakfast was the same everyday except for one, when they had pancakes and waffles, bring those back please! But truly, I do recommend this hotel. If I am in the area again, I will stay here!

Brand new hotel and it is beautiful! Stayed in a room with two queen beds with a kitchen. The layout and amenities in the room are excellent. Spacious room with a full kitchen and appliances, dishes, etc.. Design and styling of the rooms is beautiful. Just had breakfast in the lobby… excellent! Not the usual make your own waffles and pancakes but a fresh cook to order option of a zucchini egg white or a pancake. Muffins, bagels, fresh yogurt bar with toppings available. And staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating.
On my list to stay without a doubt if we return to the area.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! They had a very generous happy hour at the bar with food and drinks . And great conversation with the bartender and with another guest. It was such a lovely unexpected way to spend our first moments after we checked in. The made to order scrambled eggs were delicious and they have a chobani yogurt bar with multiple toppings to choose from. The hotel has a modern chic feel and I absolutely loved staying here ! And so close to everything!

The management team were very welcoming and even demonstrated how to use the expresso machine. The modern design is attractive and very new looking. The lobby area is large with ample seating offering a bar and variety of books/magazines to read. There is a large Weber gas grill outside and convenient for use. The breakfast chef is stating by to cook your eggs or pancakes on request. The room and bathroom was large with nice décor. We enjoyed our stay and recommend highly. We will look for this hotel when coming back to Chattanooga.

When I called hoping to get a refund, they kept me on hold for 23 minutes, then told me I called corporate. When I called corporate, they said they couldn’t even reschedule because the property canceled reservation.
