This hotel is a great place to stay while in Knoxville. The staff was friendly and the rooms layout was perfect for our family. The small couch made out into a single bed so our two teenagers did not have to sleep in the same bed. This illuminated the argument over who was on whose side of the bed. Thank...

This was a last minute stay, so not much planning ahead of time. The hotel design and decor is dated, 70's concrete. The lobby is huge and open, great for getting together with a group before heading out for the night. The rooms are small and lack a mini fridge. This is usually a deal breaker for us if we...

Service was good here with friendly folks working the desk. Tough to get past the age of the property- nothing like the updated Marriotts you are starting to see and very much in need of updating. Concierge center and gym are both on the top floor, design is just odd- no other way to put it. Location is not central...

Have been here several times for an annual law conference. The place is never great but, it's a group event and easier than staying elsewhere and running between two properties. The staff is polite and helpful! But the facility itself is dated and needs some renovating -- and an exterminator. While brushing my teeth this morning I felt something light,...

Based on some of the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel... Thankfully, my concerns were unwarranted! Staff was excellent: valet parkers, servers in the lounge, and Front Desk staff. India, at the Front Desk, was very friendly, professional and helpful. She gave us directions to the downtown restaurant / shopping area and advice re transport and...

I was recently here for a conference. I was surprised by the architecture...a real flash back to the 70's and 80's. The rooms were clean and nice enough, and the river was right across the street. The front desk staff was helpful, but management seemed to have been hired for being nice...not intelligent or organized?! I was trying to help...

Was here for a business function , & UT Vol football game, staff was extremely friendly & very helpful. Concierge service taking my luggage to room, very helpful. Free wifi for our room due to a slight miscommunication during checkout , no fault of hotel. Rooms are clean, very comfortable , dark which was great for sleeping in, after the...

Navigating the route to arrive at this hotel is often a challenge at rush hour. It is a lovely facility overlooking the river that is beginning to show its age and is in need of a facelift. While a full service hotel, the restaurant is often closed and diners are served in the bar area. They have also cut back...

Bad: The hotel needs a complete renovation. It's an atrium design from the 60s/70s.... Portmanesque...with exposed glass elevators. All inner rooms are dark and dreary. Noisy. The exterior rooms are better with nice views. Good: The staff bends over backward to make sure you are happy. From the front desk to restaurant staff. Cannot commend them enough for their positive...

This place desperately needs updating and it is overpriced for what it offers. The bathrooms are dirty feeling because there is rust on the shower ceilings. I had a handicap room and while the bathroom was large there were no Kleenex and the shower only had a hand held sprayer, no regular wall nozzle. It was very uncomfortable. Also the...
