Ok place to stay for one night. Cheap dorm rooms only seven dollars. Doubles a mixed bag, especially upstairs. Water a bit of an issue but if you ask they will turn the pump on for you. Coffee but no breakfast. They arrange a good trip up Masaya volcano for you. 20 dollars including the 10 dollar entry fee to...

Reasonable price but not the greatest place. Its pretty old looking. Bathrooms werent super clean and the toilet was broken. Needs some renovations. There was no kitchen and no fridge were you can put your food in.

Very nice place. no thrills but I would stay there again. I did not pay attention to the internet services and such as I just checked in to sleep and refresh for the next day. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Good, not super. Rooms were large and clean, but stuffy and only opened to an inside area - normally we wouldn't be too prudish, but ours (#4) opened to where the family *always* was. So stuffy :-) Don't bother with their "tour". We went to Volcan Masaya with them for a night tour, assuming that paying their higher price was...

This eclectic little spot has dated rooms, but the helpful staff make up for it. They are good value for a budget and the give you a bit of breakfast and coffee too. Masaya as a city was actually more fun than Granada even for our family. The mercato is amazing, the Thurs night cultural event there was well done,...

I stayed at Madera's Inn for one night while I was in Masaya. I was happy with the dorm rooms: they were clean, comfortable and affordable. Yes, there is a bit of an exhaust smell from the traffic in the street in front of the building, but I only ever noticed the exhaust when the road was busy (which was...

It felt that once we had paid our money, the involvement of the hosts was done. There is a computer to use - at a price. Even with a small fan, the room was airless. No running water unless you made a request so toilet smell by morning was bad. Location was good.

Hotel Madera's Inn may have been something at some point, but at this point everything is broken, and even the two points that Lonely Planet mentioned: firm beds and good service are both untrue. The dorm is unbearably hot, no windows, a tiny wall fan that only reaches one bed, and small foam mattresses that have seen better days. Ronnie...

The room was dirty and had no windows. There was a strong odor of transpiration, and the bed were definitely not good. I forgot my toilet luggage, call them to take it back again some days after explaining them what was inside, and they didn't find an other idea to robe me half of the stuffs inside...such a pitty for...

The hotel may have seen it's better days. Yes, the price is reasonable, but there were major issues with the water. Every time you needed to wash your hands or or use the toilet you had to go to the front desk and have them turn on the water. The a\c was a little window unit that barely kept up...
