This visit was a dream come true! The entire castle and grounds were amazing. All the modern conveniences tastefully set in a medieval atmosphere. Lots of love and hard work was put into making this place the showstopper it is. A must see for everyone traveling to this area.

This is a truly special venue. We booked the castle and the coach-house for family reunion. The castle is amazing and a unique place to stay. The castle is a little dark (built for security, not ambience) as you would expect, but the rooms are very atmospheric. Our kids absolutely loved exploring the various nooks and crannies. The stone steps...

I brought my family of 13, ages 12 to 71 to Ballyhannon for a unique, fun and educational experience. Every single person was blown away by this stay. I truly do not know who enjoyed it more, the adults or the teens. We simply could not have been more pleased. Staying at the castle was a rare opportunity to step...

We brought a group of 17 students to stay at Ballyhannon as part of a trip to Ireland and England; Margaret was incredibly helpful in the planning of our visit, both in helping arrange evening entertainment in the forms of storytelling and live music, to connecting us with our phenomenal caterer, Brian Mortell. Margaret went above and beyond in making...

A large group of us hired Ballyhannon & Coach House in February - there were 14 adults and 6 kids. This was our second time to hire Ballyhannon as we had such an amazing experience first time too. The castle remains true to its medieval history whilst having necessary modern facilities, heating, wifi & electric showers etc. Our children loved...

I stayed at Ballyhannon Coach House with 5 of my other family members and it quickly became our "Ireland home!" We picked the home based on a recommendation from a friend who had stayed at the castle a few years back. Upon arriving we were impressed with the landscape! It was like stepping into a painting. The coach house's location...

We loved staying at Bally Hannon Castle, Quinn, Ireland. The history, the atmosphere, the whole experience, were well worth the journey. We stayed two wonderful days and nights and wished it was a much longer visit. We were three sisters, traveling with one husband, I niece and 1 nephew. We are from British Columbia, Canada. We cooked a lovely supper...

In May of this year I married the most wonderful woman in the world and I did this in the most wonderful location in the world, Ballyhannon Castle. Originally from Limerick and Mayo, we wanted to celebrate our wedding somewhere between both counties and Quin was the ideal location. Ballyhannon Castle will leave you speechless with it's beauty. My wife...

In May of 2015 I stayed in the castle for a night with 13 of my classmates and it was incredible. The facilities in both the castle and the Coach House are excellent. We made a huge family dinner and had a great night hanging out in the Great Room. It is an excellent place to rent out for a...

Our extended family of 18 stayed at this property (the castle and coach house). The castle was an "A" for the kids. However, the accommodations were not an "A" for the adults. Our family has traveled to a few European countries as a group renting accommodations each time. The price paid for these accommodations did not match the value received...

This was a lovely group of four families who all stayed with us in November 2014. I recall they are from Chicago, and they very kindly invited Margaret, me and our two children to spend Thanksgiving evening with them, full of traditional Irish musicians and dancing, in the Castle on the fourth night of their stay when they also, most...
