I stayed here for two nights during a bicycle tour of Donegal in September 2016, and could not have had a better experience. I showed up in a rainstorm looking like a drowned rat and Rosaleen made sure I was dried, warmed, and generally taken care of. In the span of of an hour, I'd be given tea, a rundown...

We had crossed the Blue Stack Mountains that day - on foot. It had been a long and exhausting day - we were covered in dirt and dust by the time we knocked on Lisdanar house. Thanks to Rosaleen, we felt at home immediatly. After a shower, Rosaleen led us into the conservatory where she offered us tea and home...

We had a lovely overnight recently with Rosaleen at her lovely B&B. So well maintained and inviting. Rosaleen has good advice for those seeking to visit the local attractions. Her advice about parking at Slieve Leage saved us (in time and tired feet!) Rooms are large and very clean! Good breakfast too. Don't miss the fruit!

This B&B is a delight. Our hostess, Rosaleen, was a sweetie and so unfailingly helpful. She makes a wonderful breakfast and gives good tips on where to eat in the evening. Turns out most of the places are a few doors down, an easy walk on a quiet road. The place itself is very quiet so we slept well on...

This attractive property is on the outskirts of Glenties opposite the massive church building. There is an easy walk into the village centre for dinner. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and mine had a flat-screen TV with en suite facilities. Recommended

This is a pleasant, small (4 room) B&B, located less than 5 minutes walking from the small town of Glentis, with it's 2 restaurants and a small museum. The B&B is impeccably kept, the breakfasts are gigantic, but the star of the show is Rosaleen, who make sure everything is perfect. The afternoon tea with fresh scones and whipped cream...

What a great find. Lovely, clean and spacious the room we had was the nicest B&B on our trip. Rosaleen is a very gracious host. We arrived on bicycle after a day of riding in the (usual) rain. She offered us a scone and tea/coffee on arrival and helped us get our things dried up. She knows the area well...

Lisdanar B&B is not to be missed! This is an exceptional home with exceptional owners. On our first visit, we arrived after a long day of cycling and Rosaleen met us at the door with a huge smile, ushering us to a fantastic room, later serving us refreshments in her lovely sunroom. Our spotless room was spacious and the linens...

The house is within five minutes walking distance of a very nice pub and other shops and restaurants. Great location for exploring Donegal. Thanks a million Rosaleen!
