We had a 4 night visit to this Travelodge. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The food in the Bar/Café was of a very good standard and the staff here were courteous and competent. Nothing was too much trouble for all staff at this Travelodge. The only criticism was the limited opening and closing times in the Bar/Café during... More

Went with a group of friends for a lads 40th. We had 3 in a room, one double bed and 2 camp beds. I had double bed which was comfy but others said camp beds were hard and uncomfy. Rooms cleaned each day with fresh towels. Extractor fan didn't seem to work in the bathroom so after 3 days on... More

Dear David I am glad for the most part you enjoyed your stay with us, we do always advise when booking that the pull out beds are best suited to children or young adults up to the age of 16. that said we have many week day workers who are happy to stay 3 to a room. We have a... More

Just don't eat in the restaurant. They use the cheapest ingredients and the quality of the food is awful. For example the fish and chips consisted of frozen battered fish and frozen oven chips deep fried. The breakfast was so bad that we did not eat there again even though we had prepaid for 2 futher days.r

Dear Richard I am sorry you found the Quality of our food in the restaurant to be poor. We use only 100 % North Atlantic Cod and it is freshly frozen at source for freshness and quality assurance. We have put a lot of time and effort into our menu and because it is Travelodge Brand Standard it consists of... More

Stayed one night, solo, professional business trip. Hotel is just a block of rooms - functional but without any soul or character. Pleasant but functional reception and welcome. There appeared to be continuing renovation on a nearby room when I arrived at 18:30. Room basic but functional, v good bed. Wifi worked on arrival but only for 30 mins then... More

we stayed in this hotel for 4 days and it was very clean. Only downside is the camp bed is really uncomfortable and and it costs about 25 euro in a taxi to the town centre and about 15 minutes to walk to the nearest shop.

Stayed here for one night, children's beds were terrible, you could feel the wires through them. We asked for extra duvets so they could lie on them for a bit of comfort but none available. We paid extra for a family room and then we got this. Not on. Receptionist didn't seem bothered when we complained. Wouldn't stay again.

The time spent here was good for the most part. I had problems with the toilet flushing, and some of the days the housecleaning didn't clean the toilet. Other than that, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this to others.
