I stayed this week March 15th 2016 in an upgraded room. I have to say the beds , bathroom and overall appearance is excellent. Staff are vey friendly and most of all great value. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great breakfast, and though very outdated, is a very pleasant stay just outside of Dublin. The small town of Lucan is walking distance and has great dining and bars to enjoy you're night too! All in all, a win win.

Recently visited the Lucan Spa Hotel and I must say I was really impressed, my room was really cosy and had everything I needed, I was overlooking the motorway but I didn't find it too be loud. We stayed for Tuesday night complimentary at the hotel, because we had a bad experience previous to this, when we arrived,the receptionist gave us our room card& 2x DB&B VOUCHERS..... I stayed there the 2nd of january the room was deplorable as the pictures will tell will not be returning. Waste of my money the room was cold and smell of damp i even had to clean the room myself and when i rang reception there was no answer

Stayed 5 nights end of December with family for a family event close by. As a group we had three rooms. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Appearance from outside very off putting . Reception very dark. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Rooms very small and dark not very modern . Food not great very cold when you eventually get it . Not somewhere I would recommend

Didnt stay over but had a lovely lunch in the bar. Very relaxing with lovely staff and very good food.Perfect place to esacpe the madness! This was the main part of the hotel, and not the bistro which looked more casual.

Stayed here overnight lately. Excellent value at €65 for B&B and a 2 course evening meal plus tea/coffee. Parking was easy. The hotel is old fashioned, spotlessly clean. Checkin was efficient.
