We've stayed in Inis Meain several times since it first started. It is the most amazing place anyone could wish to stay in, amazing welcome, carefully considered decor, great comfort and a stunning landscape. Dinner is carefully made with local ingredients. Don't waste money on a swanky hotel - stay here and fall in love with the outdors all over... More

This was our favourite place to stay. Every detail of this place has been carefully thought out - from the architecture to the rooms' decor and furniture, to the materials used in the furnishings. The 'breakfast box' was a revelation and a delight - with delicious terrine, breads, yogurt, fruit and more. It was a welcome change to be able... More

It is not cheap, but forget about the cost; this small hotel provides exceptional value and a unique experience. A quick list of attributes: unbelievable exterior and interior design; sensational restaurant; best box lunch anywhere; breakfast in your room serenely looking out over the island while sitting at the room-length desk; great advice on what to do - you absolutely... The staff and facilities at Inis Meain Restaurant and Suites are incredible. The location is stunning and every care has been taken in the construction of the site and the way it runs, from the delivery of breakfast each morning and the provision of a backpack with hot soup so you can wander all day on the island. Dinner was... More

This place is fabulous and we will remember it for a long time! Everything has been said before but the warm welcome, the rooms with the amazing panoramic views, the wonderful dinners (go for the full dinner - the portion sizes are perfect!), the flasks of soup and focaccia for lunch, all the little extras and attention to detail are... We stayed in inis meain for 2 wonderful nights, there are only 5 rooms and the host really knows how to host you. Both have been traveling a lot in their past and you can feel it. Everything has been thought through, and once you have put foot on the island, everything been taken care of, from the fishing rug... More

We are just back from a fabulous two night stay at the Inis Meain Restaurant & Suites. The island itself is the joy of the visit, but the beautifully designed suites & delicious food make it even better. We were collected from the plane by Ruairí, our host and chef. Unfortunately the weather had us six hours behind schedule (not... More

Another great welcome from Ruairi and Marie Therese. The dining experience continues to evolve. Lamb shoulder with harissa combination last night was delicious. Wine choices brought to life too. I love Badoit ..nice and chilled. Packed lunch was celeriac and ficcacia with roast onions. We are off on a bike ride today and the sun is shining. New deckchairs to... More

I don't know a better place in the world to recover your self after a year of hard work. The suites are exquisite. The food is better than the finest restaurants. The island itself is beautiful, unique, mysterious. I would hesitate to recommend Inis Meain Restaurant and Suites so highly for fear that I would no longer be able to... More

Perfect. Every detail thought of. Unique setting, wonderful food and very caring hosts. The weather out West is always a bit of a gamble but we hit it lucky with only a few showers and were able to have a panoramic view of the mainland, including The Twelve Bens to Errisbeg Hill from our Rooms 10m window. The bicycles (good)... More
