Great food, beer and service. Another local hangout. Prices were very reasonable and quality was very good. We would generally have dinner here and then head to Tigh Ned for drinks. I would recommend this place for dining.

An acquaintance over in Connemara suggest we say hi to Rory and try his food.. I had the Irish stew and it was one of the finest lunche's i've ever had. Golly it was good. Kudos also to how quickly they could politely handle us and others.....who all likely were on the same ferry boats departing at 2.

This is as authentic a pub in Ireland as I encountered. The lamb stew was brilliant on a cloudy, rainy day. We made multiple stops here for a refuel during our exploration of the island. Always something new to experience. Recommended.

Stopped in the bar here for lunch during our day trip to Inis Oirr. The pub is very large and has obviously had lots of money spent on it - really lovely condition. We had a great lunch - food excellent, large portions and nicely presented.

Recently spent a night on inisheer . Have to say Tigh Ruairi seems to be the only business on the island that gets the concept of customer service . The owner was always present when we visited in contrast to the two other pubs both of which seemed to be run by young staff with hangovers and no interest ....

Great time had on Inisheer for four days. Lovely hotel, great food, music every night at the weekend. Recommend highly! Can't wait to return. Would recommend the bike hire if you're able as it's a great way to see the island, but if not hire a pony and trap for some expert guide from owner.

I stopped here before returning to the mainland. The waitress was very courteous and let me charge my cellphone at that bar. All the personnel was courteous and accommodating. The goat cheese salad I ordered was a touch above the par, and the outside seating had nice views over the area.

Stayed here and got a lovely room. Great check in experience and top class food and service on the island. Great buzz in the bar and superb staff. Really good breakfast and really sound advice about what to see and do. It is ideal as its only a ten minute walk from the ferry.

When you come to Inis Oirr, or the other two Aran Islands, you have to leave your mainland hangups and expectations at home and accept the islanders and their way of life for what it is - relaxed, stress-free, basic and wonderful! Tigh Ruairi is highly recommended for the quality of its cuisine. I had dinner there almost every evening...

Stayed here for 1 night with a group of friends. It is a great place to stay, great welcome, top class food and attention. Lovely bed rooms with everything beautiful and clean, comfortable beds and I had a sea view. We all had the use of a lovely sitting room on the first floor with sea views where we all...
