I stayed here twice this year, second time was to pick up my sun glasses (and attend the Fr. Ted festival). The girlie running this place is fierce friendly and offered me a bed on the busiest day of the year booked by someone who wasn't going to show up at that point. Good clean kitchen with plenty of coffee... More

Note that this review is for the Bru Radharc BnB, not hostel. Couldn't find a separate listing, but I know the it's the same owners. Speaking of, they were great! Friendly and available but respected my space. The customized breakfast to order was delicious every morning. The room and home were very clean, lots of amenities in the room and... More

I took an Irish language course on Inis Oirr and many of the participants were staying at this hostel. I was at a different B&B. They told me this hostel was just great. Some were young American PhD students, another was a family group who had an en-suite family room with TV. They all spoke of the catering facilities. One... More

I stayed here with two friends in a dorm room in July. It was very clean and comfortable. Linda the manager was very friendly and accommodating. It was great to have a light breakfast available too. Inis Oirr is a beautiful island and well worth a visit.

Stayed in Bru Radharc Na Mars over 3 nights last weekend. Great location, super friendly, great breakfast - Had plenty of great pints and food at Tigh Ned Seafood Bar, right next door. I will be back. Thanks to Maria & Linda for your wholesome welcome.

The hostel is as good as or better than most. The place is clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a good self-catered breakfast provided - juice, cereal, bread, tea/coffee. The kitchen is well-equipped if you wish to cook. At €20 per night it is one of the more expensive hostels I have stayed in in Ireland, more usually... More

I stayed at the hostel for about 2 weeks. It was quite, clean and perfectly located on this tiny little island. The owners are FABULOUS! They pop in daily to clean and greet guests, but they live behind the hostel so you have some autonomy. The kitchen is large and has ovens (a perk in my opinion). Nice little patio.... More

This is my 4th year staying with the Sharry family enjoying the bodhran summer school. First year I was B&B in the house then subsequently in the hostel - both very comfortable and clean. Maura and Linda look after you really well. The food is splendid with lots of choice. Only a short walk from the pier or the 3... More

This was my third stay at Bru Radharc Na Mara Hostel. I travel each June for the wonderful 'Craiceann Bodhran Summer School', when the island is busy with 80+ visitors from all over the world, coming together to celebrate and learn more about playing this fine drum. Maura and Linda very welcoming and helpful with information and support and the... More

There were just three of us in the hostel when we stayed so everything ran like clockwork. The DIY breakfast that we were provided with was fine and the lady running Bru Radharc Na Mara was friendly and helpful. Our stay on the island included an evening of great folk music in the nearby hotel and a close encounter with... More
