Had our lunch here a few days on our recent visit to Inisbofin., great food very friendly staff, although they were very busy the food was amazing. Great location as it is beside the beach. Great scenery and you can sit outside in the beautiful seating area.

After a good couple of hours walk we came across this restaurant. The first impressions were good with the exterior of the building and the grounds well kept. The lunch selection was big and we both chose quiche and salad that was served quickly and well presented on a slate. Portion size was good as was the food. Service was...

I was on Inisbofin recently and heard that the galley were putting on a special group meal. It seemed like great value - a meal, desert and a glass of wine all for 20 Euros. We were not disappointed. We had a table in the lovely back room where a table was laid with a cornucopia of gorgeous fresh wholesome...

The buffet I went to at the Galley was excellent. Great value and a really wide choice of tasty food, even resh mackerel just caught that morming. Great atmosphere and I'm told on good authority that the lemon meringue is the best in Ireland! A must visit when you are on Inishbofin.

Stopped in for early supper. Seafood chowder was the best I have ever tasted! The owner shared advice about the walking and cycling around the island and tales of life on the island outside of the tourist season. Much appreciated by our group of travelers.

We weren't disappointed. Despite it being a very busy bank holiday weekend we managed to find both a table and cake. My wife and...

We stayed here for a week. The apartment was perfect for two and I would definitely recommend if you are planning a trip to the island. The apartment has everything you need and is cosy with a fantastic open fire. It is located in the east end of the island beside beautiful beaches and it's a lovely walk to the...

We have brought writing groups to the Galley twice now for 4 nights each. Inisbofin is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland and amazing to stay overnight and experience the deep quiet there. There is a gorgeous beach just down the road, a couple of minutes' walk away. Caroline who runs the Galley is a marvel, always incredibly...
