We stayed one night at the Maol Reidh Hotel during our tour of Ireland. The location is ideal as you are closeby the entry of the Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey. The reception staff was friendly and helped us giving us lots of information about what to see in the neighborhood. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice...

The room was large with nice sized windows that open for fresh air overlooking the street in this sleepy little village. The breakfast was perfectly adequate with a full Irish breakfast offered as well as other hot breakfast items. There are pubs on either side of the hotel. The hotel also has a very nice restaurant and bar area. Our...

We stayed here 24th September for 2 nights. This is a lovely hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and really made us welcome. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean. There are quaint old fashioned TV 's in the rooms. We had a freshly cooked breakfast each morning , which is served to you and also usual selection of cereals,...

We stayed here three nights with our two year old son. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean, airy and bright. The room was a good size. We'd stay here again. Well placed for local sightseeing too.

This was our three stay at Maol Reidh and we were hard pushed to get a room. Peak season it's always booked out. Large bedrooms, very comfy beds, great night sleep. They went out of their way to make me a sandwich for dinner, even though it was not the norm. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. staff very friendly...

We stayed here one night during our Ireland vacation as it was close to Kylemore Abbey. The hotel was very quaint and the room was large and clean. The en suite bathroom was modern and spacious as well.

Comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast good choice of hot and cold dishes. Clean bathroom with superb shower. The pubs on the main road are a little noisy on Friday and Saturday night. Guinness is excellent. Staff are incredibly friendly

Excellent location for exploring Connemara. The hotel is in a little village which was full of atmosphere. The 2 pubs, 1 either side of the hotel are great craic and definitely worth visiting, we ate in paddy coynes and couldn't fault the food. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean but a little dated, the old square portable gave...

Stayed here for one night and the hotel was perfectly comfortable. It's location with the two pubs in the village on either side is perfect with a 30 second walk home from which ever pub you choose. The room was large and well equipped if a little dated. The check in experience was a little odd with the receptionist requesting...

Disclaimer: I did not stay here myself. We had our wedding at Renvyle House and had around a dozen guests stay at Maol Reidh (and we had our rehearsal dinner in the lovely restaurant in the same building). The staff were extremely helpful and flexible -- they worked with us to hold rooms for our guests and helped our guests...

“The rooms on the front were a little noisy in the wind....we were told by others the back rooms were very quiet but personally the view of Connemara mountains and thatched cottages is preferable than restricted views at back! Romms 101 and 102 are closest to life.....but this was not a noise issue!”
