What can I say, we had a wonderful time here. Spent 2 nights here as we visited the Connemara area. The included breakfast was excellent with lots of choices both hot and cold. The staff were very accommodating as we had gluten free requests at different mealtimes. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Would come back again. Lynn

We stayed 2 nights in this comfortable homely hotel with excellent dining room staff for 2 nights. The meals were a revelation with the best mussels & sauce I have ever tasted. The breakfast was very good - freshly made to order- with the most wonderful home made brown bread. The bedroom was clean & spacious. I would certainly stay...

Ate here last week - food was excellent - really excellent. Almond and cauliflower soup was sublime. I had chicken for main followed by warm chocolate cake. Yes the menu is limited but when you do the simple things well, really well, it doesn't matter to me. I did not rate excellent because there was a table of very excitable...

We recently had a two night stay at this hotel. We used it to gain access to all the beautiful attractions that Connemara has to offer. The hotel itself is really nice and welcoming. The room is spacious and clean. There is a really big breakfast offered which is freshly made when it comes to hot items.

It's strange how the smallest of matters can so taint an otherwise overriding impression, and a disagreement over the suitability of a starter served at our second night's dinner and the early morning disturbance from late night lady revellers (quite beyond the control of the hotel) did serve to take some of the edge off our otherwise thoroughly enjoyable two...

Excellent hotel in a beautiful village. Food delicious and staff very friendly. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Don't miss out on a relaxing break here in Connemara. Ideal location for walking holiday, visit to Kylemore Abbey and gardens, strolling around lovely town of Clifden and wandering along the strand beach at Lettergesh.

Just a quickie - we called here midway through the local loop walk in need of sustenance and were welcomed by a lovely receptionist and treated to a big pot of coffee and cream and jam scones all at a very reasonable price.

The Maol Reidh Hotel in Tullycross (on the Renvyle Peninsula) scores 10 out of 10 again. We stayed there last year, and were enchanted by the warmth of the welcome we received. From your arrival there is that reassuring feeling that you have arrived somewhere very special. There is a cosy comfort in the Reception lounge. The guest rooms are...

Booked a weekend visit to Connemara as we had never been before. Staff in the hotel were lovely and very helpful. Our room was very nice and quiet. Food extremely good in the restaurant, evening meal was to die for. Breakfast was just as good. If ever out that way again will definitely be going back

Third time of visiting- great! Monica and the rest of the Staff could not do enough for us. We were virtually the only group staying there- which was a shame for the hotel but brilliant for us- a real home from home. A good location- great for walking holidays or drinking whichever suits you! Fantastic scenery. A return visit will...

“The rooms on the front were a little noisy in the wind....we were told by others the back rooms were very quiet but personally the view of Connemara mountains and thatched cottages is preferable than restricted views at back! Romms 101 and 102 are closest to life.....but this was not a noise issue!”
