I hate to have to do this, but really had a terrible experience when we stopped here for food. The restaurant was busy when we arrived for lunch. It's decorated in a country kitchen style and the food is typical pub grub. There was one vegetarian option, pasta in a spicy sauce. When the food arrived, we were told there...

We didn't stay in the hotel, merely had an evening meal there. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was very nice, and the portions were quite large. We were on the later side of the evening service, and it wasn't too busy, but we have eaten there before, and the service was still good. The food is lovely,...

This was a basic small non chain Irish hotel that is in the heart of Spiddal and Connemara. The room was spotless and bed was comfy. The staff were EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and lots of locals were eating in the hotel (always a good sign). The young staff were so helpful. The breakfast in the morning, in the consrevatory overlooking the...

Terrific coffee and very well prepared meals. Thoughtfully crafted menu with lots of locally sourced fish and meats. I particularly enjoyed the grilled Mediterranean sea bass which was not only delicious but beautifully plated. The great staff is always willing to accommodate special requests! I have eaten here many times but have never had need to stay in the hotel...

My son and I spent a night in Spiddal during our family history research trip. The An Cruiscuin Lan Hotel is a charming anchor to the village's business district and both hotel and pub / restaurant were an exceptional bargain. We especially enjoyed our tasty dinner on the veranda overlooking the small harbor, provided by our friendly and talented server....

We were staying in the hotel and were looking for a place to have dinner. We walked the short Main Street, and there were a couple of pubs, but we had been eating a lot of bar food and wanted something different. We checked the menu at the hotel and saw a few things that interested us. We sat in...

First time to actually stay in Spiddal. This hotel is a family run small (13 rooms) and puts you right in the heart of Spiddal near the church, the pubs, and the shops. You will miss nothing. The restaurant and the free breakfast is excellent as is the view of Spiddal Harbor from the back deck. The rooms are small...
