Travelling between Dublin and Limerick with children. Decided to stop for a family meal. Saw the Gandon Inn had good reviews. Menu choice was reasonable with a children's menu also available. Food when it arrived was poor. One meal, liver and bacon - liver was well over cooked and 'dry'. Carrots were obviously re-heated and shrivelled up. Onion gravy had...

Stayed here over night recently. On check inn the receptionist explained there would be a dance that night and it may be a little noisy. She relocated us as we needed our sleep for a golf trip. We were delighted with the room...four poster bed, jacuzzi bath, huge tv, fridge etc. Bed was really comfy and room super quiet. We...

Many thanks for reviewing your recent stay with us. I’m happy to hear there was an upgrade available so you wouldn’t be disturbed by the music from the dance. We had our premier room soundproofed this year during some upgrade works, I’m delighted you found it so comfortable and quiet. I’m happy to see our staff accommodated your early breakfast...

We stopped here today just by chance on our way home from kerry. We had turkey and ham dinner and bacon and cabbage. Very traditional fare but well presented and well cooked. Not over cooked or over seasoned. It was very tasty indeed. And quick friendly service and obviously very popular judging by the busy bar and dining room.

Whilst on my way home I popped into the Gandon Inn for Lunch. The staff in the Bar were very friendly and helpful. My starter was a great portion, loaded with smoked salmon and wonderful brown bread and tasted great. Service was exceptional and i would recommend stopping here.

On our way home from a week in co.clare where the food was outstanding in many of the restaurants we visited. My daughters ordered the kids mini pizza and chips. Pizza arrived and it was awful. Soggy and def just one you'd buy in the freezer section of a supermarket. My other daughters just wanted chips. Worst chips ever. Kinda...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stop with us. I’m sorry your children didn’t enjoy the kids pizza and homemade chips we serve, our potatoes are peeled and chipped in-house daily. The kids pizza has proved to be a popular item on our new kids menu. I’m glad you found your smoked salmon sandwich to be adequate....
